Booked a flight and hotel to ******* through Priceline on February 18, 2021. Received a confirmation and money was taken a few days later. Our trip was for March 26, 2021. A few days before more than 30 days after we booked and received a confirmation, I received an email saying the hotel could not accommodate our reservation. Again 30 days after I booked. Priceline seemed great at first, but a WEEK after booking our vacation package we received an EMAIL stating that our hotel could not accommodate us. No call, no follow-up, and no change on the website's trip itinerary. Upon calling, we were informed that Priceline had a "system error" when booking our first arrangement and the hotel was now full. When we asked them to help relocate us, the agent said that ALL of the hotels in the entire capital city of San Juan were booked, and they could only offer us a refund—they wouldn't... read more

Wish there was star lower than 1 to rate Priceline. I was ripped of by their online booking which selected choices it pleased, raising my rate. I attempted a resolution with their "customer service" even their corporate emails. Nothing was done to fix overcharge. The only thing Priceline offers is cancellation with a fee. I got fed up of their disgusting practice and unwillingness to do the right thing by me, I ultimately did cancel. However, I then booked with HOTWIRE. HOTWIRE was 3X cheaper. Priceline has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I booked a round trip flight and I missed the first flight due to circumstances beyond my control. Called to see if there was anything they could help me with, but they said no. I requested a supervisor; same response. So I paid for a new one way flight to get to my destination (had to go home because of a family emergency), verifying that my return flight was still valid. Priceline hides behind ***limits of not handling online business complaints. I am not sure which should be more ashamed. DO NOT USE PRICELINE FOR ANY RESERVATIONS. THEY OVER CHARGE AND GET AWAY WITH IT!

Priceline decides to do online business because *** somehow lets internet based companies get away with murder! Beware! Priceline online system does not accept ones details on car reservations, e.g. correct age (additional fee for under 25 years of age), exact Pick and Drop off time, exact car size choice. Plus Priceline does not offer MILITARY discount like HotWIre. Priceline's only choice for their unethical practices? Priceline has a free pass to rip people off! ****** ******** ****** has an interesting exception for online unethical businesses like Priceline. Not doing business with Priceline is customer's best defense. Don't book anything with Priceline!

Cancelled a flight last year and was told that I would have a credit towards a future flight. Called to use the credit and the flight was listed on Priceline as cheaper than my credit. They told me I would have to pay over $120 more and that I could not get it at the same price as everyone else because of the “change flight credit”. The email I received specifically said “no change fees.” Very poor customer service and refused to provide any help whatsoever.

I have used Priceline on numerous occasions and thought that it was a decent company. Sadly, this week I found that to be incorrect. Please be aware that they do not handle customers issues directly and in fact send you to *********** to address the customer concerns. All persons spoken to have been overseas and make false promises. They do not follow up as they state they will.
