I’ve tried for almost two months to cancel a car rental to accommodate the correct dates of my trip, and they would not refund any money. I contacted *****who the rental was through, and their corporate office said they had no problem refunding the money. Do not use priceline. I made a mistake and booked the wrong date on a flight. I caught it and canceled it and rebooked the correct date the same night. Priceline charged me for 2 extra tickets anyway. they did give me a 623 dollar credit but would not refund my money. But guess what. I cant use the credit. no vacation days left. i called American Express and they said they will dispute the credit card charge. what a scam
I went online to rent a car for an upcoming family trip. I just *******for options and the first place was Priceline. Their prices seemed no better or worse than any of the others so I rented a car and payed online. The trip being over a week away, I had talked to family who had said they would graciously change their schedule and pick us up and drop us off at the airport so we didn't need to rent a car. Booked hotel March 18 Reservation for April 29 Trip cancelled April 14 Called hotel and cancelled Cancelled reservation with Priceline April 14 Priceline cancellation confirm # ——————- No refund inquiry made May 5 Automated system said “ I was a no-show” Tried 3 more times to make inquiry.... Automated system would no longer connect Conclusion, Priceline is not a reputable company.
Absolutely awful experience. Promises a hotel experience and when it is not delivered as advertised, they refuse to compensate and push off responsibility onto the hotel. This company owes us $80 in fees they did not warn us about, to say nothing of the $200 refund we requested.
Never will use again. Due to covid all travel was shut down 03/20 I CALLED TO CANCEL MY TRIP before my trip date. I had to call the airline & rental company myself to cancel. Fast forward a year later & I am just noticing I never was refunded for the car rental. I have called and called and was even hung up on. I have not been refunded $268.59 nor offered a credit. This was my first time using them and my last. Booked a hotel and car thru them and ended up not being able to get a car due to a partner dollar rental because of a new policy of no flight no rental car. Priceline took my money and then charged me 59.00 dollars for cancellation that wasn't my fault. It took me 3 day to get $98.60 of $158.39 that I paid up-front. Priceline needs to communicate with their partners if policies changed to their customers.
Our family recently booked 2 hotel rooms in ********and paid in full through Priceline website.I received a trip number and 2 confirmation numbers for both rooms in my email as well. We have late flight arrival and tried to call the hotel uncountable times but ended up talking to the 3 different staffs at reservation department, who confirmed that we can check in at 1 am since front desk of the hotel is open 24/7. Horrible customer service experiences on multiple occasions. We had to cancel a trip to ***** ****due to rising Covid numbers and were offered travel credit through the same airline. Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone to rebook a new flight. I waited 2 hours for a call back only to be told by the representative that's she couldn't help me and had to send me to the flights department that had a 3 hour wait for a call back.
