As a VIP member, I have access to Express Deals whicjh offer better prices from a range of select airlines, but don't disclosed the details of the flight until after you book it. I took a 3 day trip from Jun 10-Jun 13 2021 ******* ** *** ****** The airlines in my package deal were ***** *** ******with a rental car from ****** **** * *** ** ******** **** *********** ******. I went online to book a hotel and after entering my card number the response came back stating “Oh no, the trip you selected is no longer available.” I go in to book another trip and the response comes back “you have a booking already.” I go into my email and the hotel is booked. So, because of the first response I now have two reservations with two different hotels because of the response that came back the first time. Priceline is a scam! I booked a hotel through Priceline for a two bed and a sofa for five people to stay in for several nights. We got to the hotel only to find two beds and no sofa, so we are having to sleep 3 people to a bed. This is the worst company. Would not allow me to change my reservation. I did not want to cancel, just wanted to modify the flight date and they would not allow me. I feel like they stole my money. Gave me the run around. Terrible company. This is a scam. They need to be put out of business.
I’m traveling tomorrow morning and Priceline has misspelled my first name on the boarding pass. I don’t know if I will be allowed to board as I had one day allowed to check in before my flight, so I got in touch with Delta and they told me I need to get in touch with Priceline. I’ve been trying all afternoon and evening. They promised a call back and so far nothing! I don’t want to end up denied to board!
This company has long been a favorite of mine...except over last couple years. My most recent experience the company they used as vendor took my money without ever using their service and the rudest possible person at Fox Rental. Not only that, Priceline has agitated the situation by having unapologetic and demeaning protocols to follow up on their horrific customer service. I will never use Priceline again. Priceline does business with Budget rent a car who sends out people in dangerous unmaintained cars. Budget charged me for a tire that failed because of their neglect. Priceline justifies this because I did not buy extra insurance. Also, Priceline does not tell you that if you want to sit next to your partner on a flight you have to pay extra.
