BATE AND SWITCH - unethical and illegal. The first and last time I used Priceline was this past week. I booked 2 nights at the **** ****** ***** ** ******and received the confirmation number which I entered in my calendar. We arrived tired at 9 pm, valet parked, but the hotel did not have our confirmation number. So my daughter looked in my email: they had switched ****** ***** *** ****** **** ********, a less expensive hotel which I did not choose. horrible customer service...rude and hung up on me. The site listed a hotel and in clear letters it stated able to be cancelled and pay later with a check beside it. I chose the hotel for that reason and when i tried to cancel due to illness they would not let me. I called the hotel and the person could not speak english nor was she able to assist me in cancelling through them. Priceline in my view engaged in false advertising.

I thought booking through Priceline would at least save me time. But after booking plane tickets, a hotel, and a car through Priceline I was charged for my car rental and for my hotel after arriving at the location. I thought there was a mistake and figured I could clear it up with Priceline. Instead they sent me to booking.com who they use to rent the hotel and **************to dispute the additional car charges. Terrible, TERRIBLE third party service. I’ve tried many of them and this one is by far the absolute WORST. I booked a room through them at a ***** ***** ** *********** **and we were charged immediately. The room should have been ready for check in at 4. When we tried to check in they told us they had no room available even though we hs already paid. They said they couldn’t give a refund and Priceline had to. We spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to get a refund from Priceline and they just kept putting us on hold and sayin... read more

We booked a *** **** *** in ********* based on the reviews on the priceline site. It was reasonably priced, no-frills and we had no intention of cancelling so we got the best price with a non-refundable room. We started reading reviews from ****** and **** that were horrifying about this hotel. We tried calling 3 times early in the evening and no one would even answer the phone (at the hotel). This company is dishonest and provides the worst customer service. BEWARE of this company and DO NOT use them if you have a choice. If they were to go out of business that would be great. They told me I would receive my refund from a hotel cancellation in 3-5 business days. It has been 13! When I call them I get placed on hold and lied to repeatedly. Something needs to be done about this company.

This company will not help you when you need it. They quotes me a price and then tripled that price within 30 minutes. I asked to speck to a supervisor and got disconnected. Called back several times and has to be put on a call back list. After a day of trying to get in touch with a supervisor he said he could give me the price quoted. Called again and was quoted a good price and after 20 minutes on hold Nancy came back on the line and said there are no more flights at that price. Been dealing with this for over 1.5 days. I needed to make a sudden trip out of state with my spouse because my father had unexpectedly passed away. We thought Priceline would be the best deal, but we were so wrong. It was difficult to set up the trip, and we kept being kicked out or canceled because the flight would be booked by someone as we were booking it and/or their website was really slow/glitchy. Horrible customer service execution. I booked a car rental through Priceline for a standard SUV through ******* Car Rental. I go to my requested pick up date and was told all vehicles were rented and they did not have anymore inventory. I have been trying to get a refund for 10 days and had to reach out to ******* myself and merge calls with Priceline to have them confirm that I never received my rental.
