Please, please save yourself the aggravation and your money. Do not use Priceline. I booked a trip to Costa Rica for my husband and myself, paid in full. When I received confirmation it had myself, and no mention of my husband. When trying to rectify this mistake with Priceline, I received no help. It cost me almost $900 extra. HORRIBLE COMPANY!
They promise you a larger room then when you get to your reservation, they surprise you with a much smaller room and stall you with trying to add confusion to the situation and scour the order and complaint that you are filing with their agent while the said agent constantly looking to shift the blame back on the consumer while buying time and stalling to try to exhaust the customer even calling and texting them at all hours. I recently booked a car rental via Priceline. I elected to go with the Express Deal because it was about $15 a day cheaper than the original rentals ($66/day for 3 days with Express Deal). As I proceeded and completed my booking, I receive an email saying that I was being charged $169/day, and my total was $768 for 3 days. THIS IS CRAZY. I called and told them the issue within 24 hrs. On May 6, 2021, my 4 year old daughter and I were headed home from a short getaway, I was tired and not feeling great, I knew I wouldn’t be able to make the drive all the way home. ***** * ****** WOW, Priceline may be the biggest bunch of crooks in the travel community, they associate them selves with sister companies that make reservations then tell you there is no cancellation allowed. I booked a hotel room through Priceline. I get to the hotel and they tell me that the payment didn't go to the hotel but to Priceline and because I didn't have a credit card I couldn't stay there. We booked a hotel for an overnight layover through Priceline. We booked this a year ago. We arrive in ******* only to find that the hotel had closed over a year ago and is now a homeless shelter due to COVID. We asked for an equivalent hotel booking due to this and we’re given the choice a refund or a smaller room that would not accommodate our party size. Priceline falsely claimed that I would be staying in a 3 star hotel. I paid for a 3 star hotel, and then find out that they put me in a 2 star hotel. When their mistake was pointed out, they refused to admit that the hotel was 2 stars. You can Google it and clearly see the rating. They claim that in their files it's rated 3 star, when that is absolutely false. They said that they go off of their own star ratings rather than anything official.
Priceline where to start I made a reservation on Priceline and book the same day twice went to the front desk to fix it and the agent at the desk fixed it.
