If I could give a negative star I would. I am an RN and had to work an additional shift. Even though we called ahead of time 20 hours to be exact and asked that our reservation was moved, we were told no. They have so called "deals" that you get a discounted rate, but if something happens then you are just $hit out of luck. Literally they do not give a damn. Terrible customer service. Terrible, will never use them again!! BEWARE!!! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH PRICELINE!!!!!!
Priceline has owed me and my wife for 3 months. The hotel we purchased through them was gross and we had to switch rooms twice our first night because house keeping didn’t clean. The next day the hotel allowed us to cancel the rest of the stay with them and gave us documentation showing that. I changed a flight and was told that I would get my 334 dollar credit on my card in a few weeks. 432 dollars later, and no refund to my card. Calls to both Priceline, a company that uses non understanding English speaking people, and to United, I am basically out my money. Do not use these clowns unless you want to be out of pocket. They are ridiculous in their customer relations. I would give them a negative if I could. ****** ** ******
Made reservations on phone. When pulled up reservation said one airport though when got to counter said was at totally different airport. Called immediately to see if reservation could be either transferred or canceled, was told no. When I tried to get help to keep reservation till I could get to other airport , was sent Into a endless loop of one company saying the other company could only help with that. I recently rented a car using priceline. It was a terrible experience for several reasons.. 1)they will absolutely not let you cancel the reservation no matter how long it is before the scheduled time period. 2)The place they use was not at the airport. I had to take the air train to the site of all the other rental car companies and from there I had to call the company that they use. After the call I had to wait 30 minutes before the ride to the car rental site came which wasn't as bad as the person next to me who had been ... read more
Priceline hides behind the call center agents who cannot make any decisions and then "escalate" the issue to a supervisor, then disconnects you. The supervisors never call back and you get an email that says call us to speak directly to agent to help resolve an issue and the loop begins again. Such poor customer service and no transparency. We arrive at our hotel that we booked and paid in full through Priceline. Our hotel told us we had to pay $60 or we couldn’t stay. I showed them receipts and bank statements where we had paid ! We called Priceline and never could get a response through chat or a phone call. We paid the $60 so our kids could sleep . We get our room and this isn’t even our room we booked ! I was unable to modify a booking 12 hours after making. I booked a hotel for a business trip and originally had the dates wrong. This is unacceptable. I understand the no cancellation policy, however there should be at least a grace period for mistakes. I have never had an issue booking travel before and I will be telling my friends, family, and co workers never to use Priceline. The fact that I was basically told that I had to accept losing money is disgusting and horrible customer service.
