i wouldnt offer services of this company to people this is a fraud company i reserved car rental through priceline when i came for pick up price for rental of car was way different full price wasnt listed on priceline when i canceled reservation because price was higher priceline refused to pay full refund so keep my story dont get any car rentals or hotel through third party like priceline because u dont know how much exactly you will end up paying
Beware!! Don't trust jWilliam Shatner!! He doesn't know. I was scammed by Priceline this morning. I tried to book a hotel. The site said the 3 night stay I put in for would be $100.00. That is all it said. When I committed to the booking an itinerary/summary page came up that said the charges would be over $360.00. Their upgrade option is a scam, and I don’t know why someone hasn’t stepped in to solve this issue yet. You actually pay more money for the upgrade, yet it’s only for the airline to decide. I was denied what I had already paid and they wouldn’t refund my money. If it’s not guaranteed, it shouldn’t be offered.
I booked a car through Priceline for $387 including tax for 2 days. Then I found a rate that was almost half the cost a day prior to my rental. Priceline refused to match the price, so I asked them to cancel the reservation. They would not do that either. I find it ironic that their commercials are centered around getting you the best price. That was not the case here. I will never use them again.
I booked this trip this morning and my sons discharge plans changed. I tried to cancel so I can book the right dates. I bought trip insurance which i was under the impression that it was trip protection not just flight. Also when booking a hotel it says right on the front page of the hotel free 24 hour cancelation. Now I'm out $85 and $20 for worthless trip insurance. What a scam you are running, allowing the hotel to say free cancelation, and not letting us know that is non-refundable until we purchase it. On May 27 I was looking on websites to book a flight. when I was looking at Priceline website, every time it was popping up:" Contact an agent to get a better deal". I contacted the agent. She gave me a deal and the link to book the fight. after an hour I decided to go with that deal that the Priceline agent gave me. I’d leave a minus star if I could. Tried to book a hotel through Priceline, I researched and entered all the information then when I went to pay, the DATES WERE CHANGED! Because it was a no change policy I had to pay $300 for a stay that I did not authorize. Hotel wouldn’t even talk to me because I booked through Priceline. And the second I saw that it was incorrect I tried to call Priceline but couldn’t talk to a person. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITH NO RECOURSE. DO NOT USE!!!
The agent told me I could not modify my existing reservation and had me call cell it and redo it. Once I did it doubled the rice. They are rice gouging and taking advantage of people. The call center res in the phil are extremely rude and have no patience. STAY AWAY from PRICELINE!!!!!
This is the WORST place I have booked from. I will mever use them again. I will make sure many many people I know never use them again. I tried booking online and would put in my card information and everything and then it would say processing and follow up with booking no longer available. I did this for 2 days!
