I booked a package through Priceline. Friends wanted to join so I contacted them to add 2 more people. The wait time was over an hour, they called me back at 4 am. The hotel reservation agent called them liars because Maria from Priceline said they couldn’t contact the hotel, I had to. I got 3 way call with Priceline and hotel and Maria from Priceline and Marriott agent were arguing about Priceline lying to customers. I was in tears on the phone. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. This company doesn't care about their customers. They are impossible to get in contact with and do so in a predatory way. They purposefully make you wait until your trip is too close to get back in contact with you. Sacrificing the whole point of planning early. Really disappointed in their customer service. I recently made 4 hotel bookings for a roadtrip this coming June. I had a simple issue. All bookings went through ok but I didn't receive email confirmation for one. I called and they were too busy and said someone would return my call in a few hours. No call. 3 or 4 days later I received a text asking if I still needed help. I replied yes and no reply. The next day another text asking if I still needed help. I replied yes. Very dissatisfied with Priceline, and their customer service agents were no help whatsoever. I talked with an agent who confirmed that I could cancel a reservation by midnight the day before, but she also said that it was a "flexible" cancelation policy in that I could cancel at anytime but I would lose the first night's charge as a cancelation penalty. I do not recommend Priceline. They cancelled my flight due to non-payment. The payment was authorized on my credit card and Priceline failed to charge my credit card. Don’t be bothered to call if there’s an issue because they advise you to call the airline directly. What benefit do you have to use Priceline if they don’t bother to provide customer service or try to resolve their own mistakes? Avoid the stress and headache and book directly with the airlines.
Highly disappointed with priceline...we had planned a little get away over 5 hours away from home and when we showed up to hotel was told there was no reservations we would have to get ahold of them with 3 kids we didn't want to show panic cause there was no other hotel available around us...when trying to contact priceline we told the customer service they hotel has no reservations they told us so why did you call and what is your question...hotel said they were in middle of cancelling contract with them cause they keep ove... read more
I and my husband made reservations for a rental car and a hotel to see his children in ********all seemed to be smooth sailing until the day of the reservations when we first received a call from the car rental company saying that they never had a car for Priceline to reserve they were all rented out because of spring break which thankfully we were refunded for that but we were not refunded for our hotel that was booked because of some read between the line bullcrap story. When extending your stay in the same hotel & same room Priceline’s system will charge you 2x as a clear error based on time stamp, the agent will tell you no refund & SORRY... BEWARE THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES.
Priceline offered me a $9 insurance for my trip that stated for unseen or unexpected event. I wasn't able to make it to my destination because of vehicle failure and when I chatted in with an agent to cancel they said I could not cancel and when I asked for my insurance money back they said no that it had nothing to do with them. I told them I was unhappy and believed it was like a scam to offer this and not acknowledge it and the agent said we respect that and abruptly ended the chat.
