I rented a car through Priceline via debit card and once I went to *** rent a car to get the car I was asked to give a credit card which I did not have with me. They canceled my rental car and charged me $11:98 for cancellation fee. Priceline deceives customers. Watch out

THE GOVERNOR OF ********** DECLARED A LOCKDOWN AND, LATER THAT DAY, OUR FRIEND FOUND OUT THAT SHE COVID. WE LEARNED ALL THIS VERY LAST MINUTE. THE RENTAL CAR COMPANY TOLD US WE HAD TO REACH OUT TO PRICELINE TO CANCEL AND GET A REFUND AS THEY HAD OUR MONEY. THEY SAID OUR RESERVATION WAS NON-REFUNDABLE. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY WOULD NOT EVEN ACCOUNT FOR COVID IN 2020 WHEN SO MANY THINGS ARE GETTING CANCELED LAST MINUTE. WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.

Two years I've never done nothing but go to them refund promised the exact words were Priceline will always take care of their good vip the customers because I trusted them I'm over $500 in the hole cuz they made me a wrong day 11)29 but when at hotel I was a problem because it said November 13th priceline's employee to fix it to cancel and then do it again have the receipt proving why never will I even search their site

Priceline has the worst customer service! I purchased a rental car with insurance due to these uncertain times. On the website stated I could cancel up to time of reservation. Never received a confirmation email from Priceline. My card was charged for both the car and insurance within the hour. I contacted Priceline who stated I didn’t have a reservation. After several minutes Priceline found my reservation and gave me a confirmation. I was still unable to check my trip, even though I tried numerous times on the website. Con... read more

Customer service at its absolute worst!!!! Lets start with the fact that I'm a VIP Gold customer. I'd booked a room at the ******* *** ** **, CO for 11/25-26. I'd searched those dates and that city. The search showed ******* *** at $54/night. I booked it for 2 nights. Upon checking out I was given a receipt for $183.50. $65 for the first night $72 for the 2nd (+taxes). I think it's some kind of scam thing going on with Priceline. I mean I don't understand the process. You instantly take my money for a purchase. But it takes 1-2 business days to refund my money. In which case, after the second business day. Still no refund. If this were any other business. ( ********** ********* Banks, etc) Would have to be held to a different standard. CDC issues a statement recommending people not to travel. Being the socially responsible people we are, my wife and I decide last minute to cancel our trip to visit family. Rented a car through Priceline. Paid ahead in full and in good faith. Priceline's draconian cancellation policy, or more accurately stated, non-cancellation policy is a perfect example of a greedy organization using these uncertain times to pad their bottomline. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING WITH PRICELINE OR ***-RENT-A-CAR On Oct 22 – 25, I had a rental car from ***-Rent-A-Car that I rented through Priceline. Upon getting into the vehicle late at night from the *******Airport, I noticed a horrible smell. The smell was manageable as long as you cranked the AC. The next morning after seeing the sanitation of the vehicle I noticed how dirty and uncleanly it was (there was even a beer bottle cap under one of the seats). Priceline is absolutely great ... when you don't need any assistance after booking. Priceline has been my go-to for flight, hotel and especially rental car bookings over the past 3 years. I was ecstatic when I was able to book a car through Priceline when I planned my Thanksgiving trip to ** at the beginning of November.
