They have predatory practice of offering the "lowest" price then allowing their partners to change the rules of the prepaid deal. I will NEVER again use priceline. STAY AWAY
When you look up car rental Priceline is the first business that comes up. So you rent a car and you think your getting it at a good price and they even state unlimited miles. They want your address and when you checkout they have in fine print that you may be subject to local residence fee. So I went to *** and they said since I'm a local resident they're only giving me 100 miles a day and .55 per mile after. I went back to Priceline and they refused to offer me a refund. I've been on the phone 3 different times today trying to change my flight. The first rep told me WRONG information regarding price and charges. Apparently more training should be given to their reps. The pricing and information she gave me would NOT be used when I called back literally 20 minutes later. I could barely understand the second rep I spoke with. I would not even give them 1 star if possible. I contacted customer service twice. First, when we arrived for our rental car, a small rental car, I was given a 4-door ***** *** truck. I booked an upcoming wedding event through this organization for a hotel the ******* ******* ******* I booked under a block of rooms at a discounted price through the wedding party.They assured me it was the discounted price. So, I booked. I later found out that instead of a discounted rate they charged me double. I called for resolution and after being nice they put me on hold for 20mins then hung up. Priceline tries to take your money without delivering. They allowed a rental car company to refuse to rent me a car. They promised a refund if I rented through them since I couldn't get one from Thrifty. I did...and no refund. Now they state that they didn't know I couldn't get a car...I was on the phone with them. Stay far away. They are not trustworthy.
I was to visit Hillsdale College and the usual places I stay were all booked. So I booked this place. Then my flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems. Dear potential customers: What this leaves out is: 1) I paid for two nights in a hotel I did not get to use. I paid for the service, the money was collected, the service was not rendered, the money was not returned. 2) The hotel itself REQUIRED me to register through Priceline. This was the worst experience of our lives. Do not get trapped by the trap house called ***** ******** ** ****** ****** **or their *****Priceline. We booked this online to make sure we had a place to stay after driving 23+ hours to get there. When we arrived, we noticed the smell of drugs in the air and grown men fighting outside in close proximity while we tried to check into our stay.
