Terrible service if you make a mistake when booking a room they will refuse to change it date,room size etc
I booked a hotel stay in ******** ******* and unfortunately my close friend caught COVID and was hospitalized. The customer service had not a single care in the world about my concerns and insisted to repeat their pathetic cancellation policy to me over and over again like I am an uneducated halfwit. You provided no alternative to my hotel package - nothing! You could have at least given me back some credit or even offer a modification for the date. I booked with Priceline for a ******* ***** ** *******rated 4 stars on the Priceline website & had terrific reviews. I booked and paid in full for the hotel room, flight and rental of course no changes could be made after the money was secured. My son who is in the Marines booked a flight home April 2021, his leave got changed so he had to rebook. He purchased insurance on his flight so he had a credit for his next flight. He booked a flight to come home for Thanksgiving, he was assured when booking the flight his credit would be applied. I received my credit card bill and he was charged the full amount. I am a Priceline "VIP Gold" member--and that indicates that I have booked hundreds of hotel stays with them over the past 15 years. This past February 18, however, I booked two rooms for Feb 24-25. The next day, after I learned our daughter wasn't free to join us on the date we'd booked the rooms, I cancelled. This was well ahead of the required notice (two days before reservation or Feb 22). They now steal from there customers. I reserved a room like I've done numerous times with priceline and i clicked to stay at the ******* ******* *** ** ***When my receipt went to my email it said i booked for the 7th and 8th of November but i inputted the reservation for October 30th to the 31st. Priceline reservation # *********** I am VERY upset with this reservation, I went to the next car rental facility from the airport. They rushed me through a contract without knowing I was paying for way more fees and services. It turns out they rented me a vehicle from a different agency GO Rent A Car. GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is stealing all of us with its policy and training to its agents. I booked airline tickets from ******* ** ****** and paid flexible change, which means I will pay only the difference of the rate at the time if I reschedule my tickets, in this pandemic period to protect myself. I called Priceline to get a better rate on a room since I am a grieving Sr needing to travel to *** *****for my brothers funeral. The agent (Mario) gave me a better rate. I asked what the taxes and fees were and then explained the online price had lower taxes and fees. He told me I must have been looking at a different room.
