I wanted to cancel a car rental because the price advertised went from 14 dollars a day to 30. Priceline say its none refundable.

My mother was taking to the hospital today for heart complications. I was due to return home today. Due to unforseen circumstances I am unable to make my trip. I asked Priceline if I could be credited for not being able to make my trip. They credited me only $7 of the $158 I spent to buy the ticket. I have literally spent over $10,000 this year alone with priceline. Never cancelled, ask for a refund or never needed and change of and kind until now. Priceline refused to refund me for a car reservation I attempted to cancel 5 minutes after booking. I spoke directly with the car rental company and they quickly and easily cancelled my reservation while I was on the phone with multiple Priceline representatives that kept refusing to offer a resolution. When I told them the Car Rental company cancelled my reservation and therefore, they should be able to refund me, they said they would contact the car rental company themselves to confirm and get back to me. If I could have the option for 0 stars I would. This company wasn’t helpful at all. I originally got my trip through them to **** *** ***** I wanted to exchange flights for a later time. Seems very hard to get to customer service. 4 hours later I got to talk to a live person. They switched my flights for 350$ but did not finalize itinerary. Which means the American Airlines wasn’t able to find me in that flight. There was way for me to get back home unless I buy another ticket home for me and my wife. It's a rip off. I reserved a car through them and they did not have a car in the size I requested, so I offered to pay for an upgrade and was told that because I got their express deal, I could not make any changes to the reservation. Not to mention they kept my $181 I paid for the car and I was in able to see my family for the holidays.

I had the worst traveling experience with this company. The customer service is completely and utterly horrible. My air bnb was canceled and I had to get a new air bnb at a new location. So I had to cancel my car rental that I booked through priceline. They said I had to cancel through Fox rent a car rental company. Fox Rent a Car said they couldn't cancel because I booked the rental through a third party website which was priceline. Priceline said they my rental was non refundable and non changeable. I booked a car with Priceline using ***** from *** ** ***. ***** cancelled my reservation because it was their policy not to do one way trips from ***out of state. Priceline erroneously allowed me to book anyway.The agents were extremely rude and dismissive on the phone and just told me to book a new car, even though it was HUNDREDS of dollars more than I had paid them. I am never using Priceline again.

priceline is just here to make money. A room was booked at the ******** for 11/23/2021 but is actually needed for 11/24/2021. we called immediately to the hotel that told us we could not cancel OR CHANGE THE DATE. but the cancellation policy is if you cancel BEFORE CHECK IN AT 3 you can cancel your reservation. the scandalous ********'s in Rancho told them, "if they rebook with us for tomorrow they will cancel the other one. and they would not refund the money. I searched for hotels in the DOWNTOWN ********** area, but the results gave me a hotel 25 MINUTES away??? What a racket! They include hotels that are not in the area you're interested in just to get you to buy, TOTAL BS!! Jake Priceline Trip Number: **************
