Customer service call center is a scam. I’ve called about 15 times and waited on hold for hours and hours all day to get absolutely nowhere. They hang up on me every time without fail, sometimes after a 45 min hold, sometimes directly after me telling them what the issue is.
Had to modify a reservation that I made about 3 hours ago. I'd even paid extra for the "trip protect" whatever that is supposed to mean!! I called priceline and was told, I could talk to the hotel, but they weren't going to change anything!! WORST travel service I have ever used!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Will only give 1 star, as ZERO is NOT an option!!
Terrible customer service and an absolute scam of a service. When you have issues they will not assist you. They are absolutely awful.
I purchased an airline ticket online. Immediately after printing the itinerary, I noticed that I typed a "N" instead of a "M" for my wife's first name. (Note: airlines will not make the change, this has to be done via Priceline) I called customer service at Priceline. They informed me that I would have to wait past the 24 hours free cancellation time to make this change (which worried me because it felt as a trap or at best made no sense). I had the worst experience with Priceline on Oct 7, 2021 so bad that I will be canceling my Priceline card and never doing business with them again. I happen to be a PLATINUM member, but they aren’t even willing to refund me my money (during Christmas time that I need for my children) after I was forced to stay at a hotel that was unsafe and dirty with roaches on the bed and toliet, drug dealers, gun shots, people overdosed in the hallway, and my door lock was even broken. I booked a flight, and had to cancel it. The cancellation process was horrible, long, and took multiple hours on the phone to resolve. I finally got a flight Credit- when I did, and I tried to use the flight credit, I had the same issue of being placed on hold multiple times and often transferred to another department only to be disconnected. It seems that booking a flight is easy, they take your money without issues. But giving your money back to you? Extremely difficult.
I booked a flight with them months in advance, last week I received an email that my flight changed, didn't think much of it because the arrival time didn't change by much. I'd give them zero stars if BBB would let me. I am incredibly angry. I've used Priceline for years and never had a problem. I booked a room with them for this last weekend, 12/10/2021. But when I checked my credit card app, it showed I was charged twice, including the insurance. I asked the hotel if I had duplicate reservations and they said no. I booked a hotel through Priceline. As the date approached I needed to cancel my reservation. I went online to cancel within the time frame to not have to pay a penalty. The date approached for my check in and I received an email telling me it’s check in day. I then chatted with Priceline stating I had cancelled my reservation. They said it never went through so, I could cancel at that point and would be charged 39% of my booking. I never received my partial refund so, I then called them again.
