I booked a hotel that was advertised to be at the lowest price available but I could not cancel. This was for a hotel room with two beds. After booking the room through Priceline, was informed that the room had a single bed only. This was NOT what I was supposed to get and I called the hotel right away to cancel the reservation. So they canceled my reservation at last minute while I’m on the highway in the middle of the night. Keep in mind days before I had a confirmation. Apparently their “partners” messed up and didn’t want to eat the costs. They kept putting me on hold. And eventually tried to move me from the ********into a 2 star hotel that had bad reviews. After I refused then they said they would give me 10% off. Used to be a great company. Now it’s just shady business. Their prices are not any better most of the time than the hotels website.

I paid for air, hotel & car upon securing a reservation. I got to the hotel & they were full & told me Priceline should not have given me that reservation.

Kind of surprise to see lots of 1 star review. I have the same problem with Priceline for almost three months now. Agents from the ***********rebooked me on a wrong date flight. They realized the mistakes and promised me over the phone ten times to refund the money. I called them so many times that I can't even remember and every time I called I had to tell them from the beginning of the story and then they would forward the call to Escalate Department and they again promised me that a supervisor would call me and that is al... read more

I was going on a trip to New York in November 2021. I made a reservation in September 2021 for a hotel in November 2021. Two days before my reservation, Priceline told me the hotel was in fact closed. I later discovered it had been closed since at least August 2021 and yet they still took the reservation and only provided two days notice. Priceline was not truthful or forthcoming about the mistake they made and proved entirely unhelpful throughout the whole customer service process. While researching an upcoming trip I wasn't aware that I was in fact paying for rental at that point. Once I realized not only was I that I've booked and paid for a car rental (at a much higher rate than I selected), I called Priceline to cancel the reservation and was told it couldn't be canceled and the reservation was non-refundable.
