I am so disgusted at how these people can rip you off and get away with it! I used priceline to rent a car with ****** ***** messaged me the day I was to pick up my rental with NO CARS AVAILABLE at none of their locations. I had to drive my car on that trip. PRICELINE CHARGED ME 39.00 for collision insurance damage on a car THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE MERCHANT!! THEIVES AT BEST!
Do not use priceline, they offer insurance and claim you can get a refund on flights if you purchase the insurance. Not only do they refuse to cancel flights, but they do not cover the insurance either. I could not fly due to covid19, which is on the list for priceline and its insurance as a qualification for cancellation to a full refund. They will not honor. I needed a rental car. My vehicle has been in aonther city since December 3 for a complete engine replacement. The person who I've been getting rids to work tested positive for COVID. I went to several online travel sites and Priceline stated that you could rent a car without a credit card. This is far from the truth. I used Priceline’s mystery hotel deal for my 13 day trip to T***** It was a nightmare! Before I was unpacked I found bugs in my room and demanded a new room. After moving all my luggage across the hotel to another room and unpacking again I found bugs in the toilet and unflushed pee. Please know Priceline doesn’t care once you pay them they expect you to take whatever crap the hotel gives you. Do not spend your money with Priceline!!!
During Holiday Season. Multiple flights cancelled due to Covid19 issues. Refund requested through airline that sent confirmation flight was refunded through Priceline. Priceline said this did not happen and can't refund money due to not having access too status of ticket....but they know the flight was cancelled. I have been using Priceline for years. I booked 2 reservations in *** **** ***** **** on two different dates for 2 different hotels. The purpose of the hotels were overnight stays for traveling to and from the airport. Both hotels indicated that had airport shuttles, when actually they both did not and I did not and I didn't know it till I arrived. If I could give a negative five star rating, I would. Absolutely horrible experience. I booked a vacation package via united.com. Unfortunately United airline outsources their package processing to Priceline. Due to Covid exposure I had to cancel my travel itinerary and that had to be done through Priceline. Priceline wanted to charge $200 per ticket cancellation fee even though United voided cancellation fee at that time.
