This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

This place is amazing! Eclectic, unique atmosphere and the food is delicious!
The decor was a bit weird but kind of neat to look at. Food was good. Service was great. The owner was rude... very bossy to her staff in not a nice way in front of customers and stood at the doorway a few times staring our table of two down. She really took away from the experience. She could of just been having a bad day so we’ll give it another shot but if she’s there again and acting that way, we’ll never be back.
Ate here for the first time tonight. delicious food!
I recommend the food and the building.
I don’t care how good the food is. When the service sucks, it kills everything. We waited an hour (after being told it would be a 30 min wait). Then when we were finally sat, it took another 10 minutes to even get water, and the food took an hour. I had two children under 5 with me. No apologies, no acknowledgment that this is not acceptable service. I will never go back.

A love of ours in Baltimore ~ much like many peoples. I love to find that when I return from a year or two to visit that the same people work there. The atmosphere is fantastic ~ for everyone. The menu caters to everyone. We love you Papermoon!
