This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

fabulous food! spectacular decor! gorgeous black men!
Food came fast, hot and fresh. Good size portions. Coffee had flavor and the grits were spectacular. No need to doctor them up. I had the before mentioned grits, egg with cheese, pancakes and bacon. The bacon was a thick cut and crispy, very flavorful. A few cups of coffee and a glass of water. And it all was great. But it ain't cheap!!! Nothing is these days.
Amazing place! Great atmosphere, decor is stunning. Feels like you inside the museum.
Loved everything we ordered. Birthday cake pancakes were so fluffy and the Big Dipper didn’t disappoint either. Always fun checking out what’s new on the walls and reminiscing here.
WORST PLACE EVER! Food sucks! Service is awful! Children are not tolerated or wanted at a place like this, so if you are a family looking to go out then don’t go here!!
Incredible atmosphere - hard to describe. Great menu! OMG - Captain Crunch milkshake!
The owner is rude and will ask people to leave. This place has peds dispensers on the walls which draws kids but certainly not kid friendly. Food is ok but the Asian owner is just not patron friendly so I ask my friends not to spend their money or time on and in a so so place. I have never written a bad review but this place was so bad I just felt the need!
first trip to baltimore just to eat here. great quirky feel and our food was amazing great great anniversary lunch with the kingman. will definitely return
great service, food, and environment
