This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

Worst place ever! The owner/hostess is so rude. My family and I stopped there for lunch since we were in the area. I wasn’t feeling well, and didn’t really want to eat much. My husband and son placed their order and I was told if I wanted to sit at the table I had to order a minimum of $12 worth of food or I had to leave. Needless to say, instead of making over $24 between my husband and son’s meal, they made ZERO! Oh and when you are done eating you have only 15 minutes and then you are told to leave. HORRIBLE!

Such a great spot! Very fun atmosphere with friendly staff. Our server Charley was on his game. Great place for kids and adults. The menu offers a wide variety of options. The French toast w/ Carmel apples was unbelievably good as was the crispy bacon avocado omelette.

Love this place great food and awesome decor.
The hostess was rude to us prior to us even being seated. One member of our party didn't get their food until 10 to 15 minutes after the rest of us. Twice two different employees tried to clear our plates while we were still eating. The check was delivered to our table while we were still eating. So this place is a really laid back super friendly place! It’s a few miles and minutes away from the Zoo. It’s off 29th St so it’s really easy to get to from 83 or Charles or St Paul streets. The place is just cool. Its an over the top ambiance that’s not overdone or tacky. It’s truly a gem of the city. Every city has that one place that’s a must goto. Papermoon is a definite if visiting the area. It a true representation of expression, imagination, inclusivity, and the food is great.
