This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

RecommendedA unique little gem tucked away in Baltimore... kitsch is queen and there is no shortage of things to look at. The food was exceptional and served quicker than a wink by our friendly server. It's a tiny little place so no strollers allowed (there just isn't room for it) and I would avoid if you're dining with littles who would be too tempted to grab at the decor. All in all I highly recommend and I'll be going back again!

My boyfriend has been talking me to the Papermoon for over a year. We walked in today and it was slow. Was seated at a very uncomfortable table. I asked if we could move to a different table. Was told no. We left.. Probably won’t be going back.
The food and quirky atmosphere is great! A must stop shop for those visiting Bmore! They have really good Grilled Cheese Sandwiches !

Best tomatoes ever. Srsly. Get a salad there. I dare you!!! You will not be disappointed. Captain Crunch Milkshakes forever. Vegan or not nachos rule. Tofu scramble when I am poor!
One of the most unique places I've ever eaten in! The decor and atmosphere were just amazing. However, that's not the only thing that's great about Papermoon...the menu selections were awesome (took quite awhile to pick, so many good choices) and my food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a great experience! 👍👍👍
