This small, somewhat eccentric café is a local favorite. The décor is certainly part of the café's charm- bright primary colors abound, the thrift store furniture is mismatched; mannequins, dolls and other toys decorate the window sills, walls and even the ceiling. But it's the food that keeps the locals coming back. It's a terrific blend of traditional home cooking and lighter vegetarian fare. The French toast (served all day) is one of the city's treasures.

I’m pretty sure this $11 tofu scramble could have fit inside a baby food jar the portion was that small. And for something so small, it was barely cooked with maybe 1 leaf of spinach and 2 mushrooms. Please don’t offer vegan dishes unless you have cooks who know how to do it well. And with how cheap tofu is to buy, you guys can definitely afford to at least triple that portion into an adult size. Giving a star for the cool art, and the waiter was friendly.
Food and Service was great
Food was ok. They need to have better “home fries” especially for a popular breakfast place. They were just frozen cubed potatoes that were deep fried and salted. No peppers or onions etc. The omelette was big, full of chunks of avocado- that was good. The hostess was totally stressed out and not friendly at all. Food came quick though for being so busy
The food/service is always great here, but the owner or host(?)I don't know, she's the older Asian woman...she doesn't make you feel very welcome. No smile, no warmth, and a military style of ordering around. She wipes up tables and rushes you out when you're not even finished. Feels like she just wants your $ then it's get out so the next customer can spend $. We were still drinking our coffee and milkshakes and felt pressured to leave. Uncomfortable, but other than that the experience is always memorable.
Lovely place to eat and I love the decorations
Great atmosphere, food was on point—-had the Monte sandwich. Service a bit slow comparatively but pleasant.
Good food, good service and laid- back but hip atmosphere.
The owner is rude and will make you not want to eat at this establishment. The staff seems to be nice. The place has an eclectic design and I was kind of afraid to come inside only to be welcomed very rudely by the owner. Against my best judgment I sat down to eat. The food looks great but i'm still waiting for my order... finally it comes out and the food is great. Will be my last time coming to eat here and I don't recommend it even though the food is excellent. Don't spend money where I am not welcomed.
First time there and LOVED the quirky decor, great service and outstanding food!
