RecommendedThe scheduling was quick, the service was prompt and thorough, and our garage door is now brought back from the dead. It is safer, quieter, sturdier, and much easier to open by hand when necessary. Our technician Benny also went the extra mile to explain everything and ensure that we were satisfied with the custom adjustments. I'm not sure anything could have been better about the experience.
This morning my garage door made this awfull screeching sound and would not work. I call Neighborhood Garage Door in Plano, Tx tbey offered to be right out. I scheduled for after 3pm. I received a call from Gilbert, their technition at 3:05 letting me know he was on his way. When he arrived he evaluated the issue, told me it looked like a simple fix, that a cable had come off the balance wheel.He let me know the cost, fixed it and cleaned up. Very professional and personable. Thanks for taking care of it. Great job.!
Had a spring break Sunday morning. Called Neighborhood Garage Door Service around 10 am. Was given a time between 11 am and 2 pm. Nathan the Tech called me around 11:30 am to inform me that he was heading my way and would arrive in 15 minutes. Work completed in under an hour. I can not say enough about Nathan's professionalism and friendliness. I do think they are a little pricier than other repair companies, but for the same day service (on a Sunday no less) and fast response. They can't be beat.
We needed an emergency repair. Rather than fixing a 30 year old noisy opener, the technician showed us a quiet belt drive system that was not expensive. I am so glad that I chose the new system - WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I love our super quiet, dependable smooth opening garage door. I am actually thankful that our previous system failed and we chose Neighborhood Garage Door service.
I was happy with the service and the technician that came to my house. Unfortunately they charged me $164 for a part that costs $30 which I believe is a little too much of an increase. I completely understand that they need to make money and I'm willing to pay more for the convenience but this seems excessive to me. I won't use them again.

Technician did a great job, did an adjustment only. Did not rip us off or try to do something that would have cosf more. Appreciate the man and the job he did.
Dakota was the technician who came out on a Sunday evening to re-install the motor into the garage ceiling. He was efficient and checked with me before performing any work, including showing me the cost of the repair before he started. I was grateful they came out during off-hours. It helped my Monday morning get off to a good start!
