My family recently sold their home in Broken Arrow, OK. My mother called Neighborhood Garage Door Service to request an estimate on the cost of repairs for the wood rot in our garage door. This needed to be provided to the new buyers. When the garage door repairman came out, he told us that he "could not repair wood," only offering to replace the door with a metal one, and then billed us for an inspection fee. Contacting Neighborhood Garage Door Service was a complete waste of my time and money.

If you are looking for a company that cares about your long term customer satisfaction, this is not it. In September 2016, I had the garage door operator replaced. Less than 2 weeks later, the cable that operates the door broke requiring another service call, but the repair was at no cost. Less than a year later (July 2017), the exact same happened with the operator cable. RecommendedBUYER BEWARE – BAIT AND SWICH - I contacted Garage Door Sales on Sunday, 6/18 to have my GD opener repaired. They sent a technician named Gerald who informed us that he didn’t have the correct parts required to fix the door but could return the following day. After 9 visits over 10 years with the same garage door company, I finally decided to install a new door. It was much cheaper than paying $350-$400 for each visit. Doug installed our door on Thursday morning and did a great job. Efficient, down to earth and honest. I'm happy with our new door.
BUYER BEWARE!!! If I could give this company 1 star I would! Friday June 23rd called for a repair on my garage, they scheduled us to come out Saturday the 24th between 8-11am and would call us 30 min. prior to arrival. They called at 10:30 am and said they would not be arriving until between 12 & 2pm, they showed up at 2:30 (3 hrs late). My garage door got stuck on the track and the motor jammed. The guy came in, inspected it, changed the rollers and lubricated it, spent around 45 minutes and charged me 450$ so that I could use it manually. Then quoted me 750$ for a new motor and another 750$ for other issues I would need to fix to make it work properly. I called around local garage door got a quote for half the price. What a rip off. Use this company if you feel like really getting ripped off! Worst experience with a service Ive ever had. Wouldnt tell me the price until he was finished. 45 min later Im getting a bill for $800 to fix a broken cable! WOW! I wish I made $700 an hour.

We had an emergency leaving for out of town. Garage Door Services sent Gilbert the Technician who was a one man crew. He amazingly services our GD and was done in enough time for us to catch our flight. Thank You Gilbert!!!!
