Best Happy Hour in Town – I can't think of a better happy hour...the people, food and drink all are great. We met more fun and interesting people in one night than we have in months. We will be part of the regular Friday night happy hour crowd.
Best Japanese and Best Price – Nakama has great prices for japanese food and the quality can't be beat. All of sushi is expensive. I've been to Yokoso in the Waterfront and their prices are even higher. So if you're in the mood for a good price Japanese food Nakama is your best bet. They give out a lot of coupons and incentitives for being a member. Yokoso doesn't do that. The last time I was at Nakama, I forgot my purse. sushi for two – lets start with the valet parking. it's great, because i don't have to drive around looking for a parking spot, blocks away. food has always been exceptional. the staff have always been very nice. the only problem we have is when we are just there to eat sushi, all the tables are being used by customers just waiting around to get seated in the dinning room. and that there were bigger tables so that more than 2 people could sit and eat sushi.
Great Show and Decent Habachi – Nakama is one of my favorite Japanese spots in Pittsburgh. Their Halaki Roll is AMAZING and they have great lunches, too!
Outstanding sushi and sashimi in the the tri-state!! – I've eaten in the most exclusive and exquisite sushi bars from LA to NY. Upon moving to the Southside, I shuttered at the thought of sushi in Pittsburgh! And then came Nakama. Thank goodness. Best Place To Eat and Meet People – I have eaten at Nakoma a number of times and have hung at the bar area with my friends. The food in unbelievable and it is also fairly reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The bar area is a nice place to hang out with your friends and drink an assortment of delicious martinis. The atmosphere is great to relax after a hard day at work. Overall I think Nakoma is a great addition to Southside and one of the best places to eat and drink in Pittsburgh.
Best place for friends – Nakama is a great place to have an amazing time with friends. The service is always great, the drinks awesome, and the food amazing. No matter how many times I return I am always impressed by Nakamas.
Coolest Place in PGH – Everytime I go to Nakama, my friends and I have the best time! We love the atmosphere and the food is phenomonal! Our favorite appitizer is the Yakitori and we love the hot waiters too! If you're looking for great food in Pittsburgh, this is where you should go!
All around fabulous – I am a regular at Nakama. I try to make it there once a week or 1 every two weeks. The employees are friendly and the service is great. Nakama has a great happy hour, with great a great atmosphere. If you are in the 20's and 30's singles scene is a great place to frequent. I am a very big sushi eater therefore I am a big critic, and Nakama's quality is always great.
