Best Dining Experience in Pittsburgh! – I admit, I am writing this for the $10 gift certificate. However Nakama gets my dinner dollars anyway so I am happy to be able to save a few dollars eating at one of my favorite restaurants. Great Service at Nakama! – Nakama was one of my first sushi experiences and it really turned me into a sushi lover. I have yet to try their hibachi, but the sushi is delicious. On my first visit to the sushi bar, I didn't know much about sushi and wasn't sure how and what to order. The sushi chef was very helpful and actually enjoyed explaining everything to be. It was very educational and tasty!
Great place! – I have been to Nakama many times, with family, co-workers and friends. The birthday celebrations are great. The service has always been excellent. I have eaten in the dinning room and at the bar. I especially love the beef tips. I would deffinetly recommend this resturant to anyone.
Best Japanese food in the city. – My daughter adores Japanese food, so I took her and her husband to Nakama for her 34th birthday.......we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, especially the soup as it was made from REAL beef stock, not colored chicken broth. The gentleman preparing our food was personable and competent. Best sushi in Pittsburgh – I recently ate at Nakama, and the service was outstanding. The sushi was to die for and I will definately be returning soon!
Great place for a night out with the girls! – My girls and I had an awesome time at Nakama this last visit, just like all the others. I'm not a big fan of sushi and that type of food, but I definately loved what I got. My friends shared with me and now I may actually like it, because I tried it. Excellent food, excellent service, can't wait to go back!
best filet mignon i have ever had!!! – i shared a hibachi table with 5 of my friends last friday...some of us had experienced them before, while for others this had been their first time...we all had an excellent dinner and enjoyable "show"...by far the BEST filet mignon i have EVER had!...thank you and keep up your superior service!!!
disappointment – Before reading my email today I was planning on celebrating my birthday at Nakama next month. I actually started making plans with friends this weekend. However, you will see that 261 emails were posted today prior to mine. 4 were just as displeased as I however, 257 Pittsburghers have sold their vote for a mere $10. Nothing Compares – Every time I go to Nakama, I enjoy it more and more each time. The food is awesome... I seem to always take some home, the portions are so big. The service is always spectacular and the ambiance is always inviting. Not only do I love eating there, I love drinking there too!! Thursday nights in Pittsburgh belong to NAKAMA!!
