Best Environment and Atmosphere for Sushi! – Nakama on the South Side of Pittsburgh is the best sushi place. Their unique and tasty appetizer salad is to die for. I can't wait to go back to Nakama and devour their Hawaiian rolls again. They are amazing!
Co-workers will envy your lunch the next day. – Fresh, quality food and the best service in Pittsburgh. Every time I go to Nakama I buy sushi and a dinner entree, but I end up with delicious leftovers that go to work with me the next day. Great Happy Hour – One of my favorite places to go in Pittsburgh for happy hour. I love the variety of appetizers and they are 1/2 off. Can't beat it. I would recommend the beef tips and lettuce wraps. So great! And one of my favorite drinks, Plumy Yummy!
Best Dinner Ever! – I have been to Nakama on several occasions. Once with my children. I have never had a bad experience. In fact, my children loved it so much that if they had their way we would eat there everyday! The staff is very friendly & the cooks are wonderful. It was a wonderful experience. If you are in the SouthSide area, you should stop by and give Nakama a try. It is an experience like no other!!!!!!
Nice atmosphere – I enjoyed a very nice birthday lunch at Nakama. The service was very prompt, the cook was skilled and entertaining, and the food was very good. It was a nice change of pace from the usual lunch fare. I can't wait to go back with a group of friends!
Awesome food – LOVED the food and the atmosphere. The wait staff were friendly and polite. The food -- just WOW. The portions are huge and if you leave there hungry, it's your own fault. I can not wait to go there again! This is my new favorite place.

Best birthday date spot! – I just moved to the city about a year ago. I always heard great things about Nakama and always talked about wanting to go so my boyfriend took me there on my birthday. The sushi was amazing! The sake and Japanese beer was fantastic! The service was and atmosphere was great! Sitting at the sushi bar and watching the chefs prepare our food was so much fun! Loved it!
BEST JAPANESE in the Burgh – Bob's triple Combo is worth a visit to the South Side. It is reasonably price tfor the quality/quantity of food that you get. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very good food with a professional type ambiance. I will definitely be a loyal customer for years to come.
