LOVE IT! – Nakama is an amazing restaurant...not only that, it is an experience like none other. The food is great and it is extremely entertaining to have all of the food cooked in front of you. I would recommend it to anyone. This include family, dating couples, friends, and especially birthdays. It is a lot of fun if you get a large group of ppl together and go. GO THERE!!!
Great Sashimi – A great place for sushi. I sat in the bar area and Stephanie, the bartender, took excellent care of us. I met some friends for lunch, it was busy but not crowded. The appetizers were great and the sashimi platter was top notch. Very fresh and very yummy. I recommend Nakama to all of my friends.
Great overall ambiance! – This restaurant has great hibachi and a sushi bar with lots of variety. Come here on an empty stomach and you will be very pleased.
Great Bar Scene – Always enjoy taking business associates or friends/family here. Great Sushi and great Steak House menu. Above all, though, great bar scene that is always in full swing.
Change of Venue – Fantastic food and drinks! We live in the South Hills and frequent Hibachi Japan in McMurray. This is sooooooooooooo much better. It is a little dark and loud, but hey that gives it flavor! We drive 35 minutes just to eat here!
No value for the price!!!! – These reviews mean nothing!! They are a result of bribes from the owner. If you write a good review you get a $10 coupon!!!!! The food is not authentic Japanese. It's expensive. The "non-smoking" area is smokey because it's right beside the bar with little separation!!
Testimonial – My boyfriend and I have been to Nakama several times and every time we have had a great experience. We try to go in big groups but it is a great experience either way, by ourselves or with a bunch of friends. The food is excellent and you will never leave hungry!
AWESOME dining on the south side! – I LOVE Nakama! I have been there many times and can't get enough. I was just there this week and had anoter tremendous dining experience. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are superb. the fillet is the best that I have had anywhere and the lobster tail is incredible. Also you can't go wrong with the sesame chicken. My favorite restaurant! – I first tried sushi at Nakama a year ago, and since I have become a sushi lover. I now eat sushi everywhere I go that it is served, and I can't find any as good as that served at Nakama. The seafood at Nakama is so fresh. I have become a regular at Nakama.
