Best Sushi in the burgh – Nakama has the best sushi that I've had in Pittsburgh. The Hawaiian and Hanalei rolls are to die for. I've had some similar rolls around here but nothing compares to the freshness at Nakama. Nakama also beats some of the best Sushi restaurants in Miami. The sushi chefs are wonderful!! Five stars!!!
Great with a large group – There was a group of 18 of us for dinner and everyone said the food and the service was excellent! I would recommend this restaurant to eveyone and have!
Amazing sushi – I love eating here! My roommates and I come here for birthday dinners and for the lunch specials. The food is great and the chefs are so fun to watch! Great for dates or girls night out.

Hot Spot and Great Food! – First off, the bar at Nakama has one of the best vibes around. I love to stop in with my sweetie and have a fabulous martini and soak up the atmosphere. It is an excellent place to stop after work or kick off your weekend. Best Japanese Restaurant – Nakama is by far my very favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, trendy in the bar area, and a little more subdued in the hibachi dining section of the restaurant. The chefs are both skilled and entertaining. It is truly a unique experience every time I go to the restaurant as I have always been treated to a savory meal and a creative show with food and fire on the side. Great scene, any time of year – My husband and I treat ourselves to Nakama anytime we want to celebrate. The sushi and appetizers are excellent and the service is great. Nakama is a nice stop for Happy Hour on a summer evening and a cozy setting for a snowy winter night. It's one of our favorite places to eat in Pittsburgh!
Nakama is ALWAYS A GOOD CHOICE – I've been a loyal customer at Nakama for several years now, and I don't think there's a better place in the city to entertain friends or family. Always a "happening" spot on the weekends...but never too busy to accomodate if you plan your reservations at least a day or 2 in advance. EXCELLENT Food, Service & Ambiance! – Every time I've visited, we have had a fabulous meal, excellent and entertaining service, as well as a wide menu selection to satisfy all! The atmosphere is fun, energetic and happening. Additionally, the email newsletters and updates that offer specials, newsy material, birthday dinners, etc. make this restaurant really stand out. I would recommend dining at Nakama to anyone!
