Great food! – I have been to Nakama several times now, and I have enjoyed it every visit! The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the service is great, and the atmopshere is fun. It is a great place to bring family or friends.
Best Food and atmosphere – My husband and I go out to dinner with friends at least two times a month, and we go to Nakama every single time! Not only is the service excellent, and the food great but the atmosphere speaks for itself! I recommend it to anyone and everyone i talk to! Def #1 in PGH!
Best Japanese food this side of the Pacific! – Ive been to Japanese restaurants all over the country and Nakama takes a back seat to none of them! Outstanding sushi, terrific entrees prepared in an entertaining fashion, and fabulous drinks. great place to take your children, as well. Love Nakama!
Great of occasions – This is one of the best places in Pittsburgh to go celebrate a birthday or any special occasion. Nakama has wonderful food and atmosphere. I have been there at least 10 times and it is one of our favorite places to go have fun, drink and eat.
Love the spider rolls – They have the best spider rolls there. Excellent service. I usually get takeout during my lunch hour and they are very quick and always very nice. Its the best sushi in town.
Awesome Happy Hours!! – 4 of my coworkers/friends headed to Nakama after work to have a drink and dinner. When we arrived we were informed that from 4 - 6 they had a happy hour and we were SO impressed with the discounts! They had drinks, appitizers, soups and salads all half price! When Visiting Pittsburgh from Viriginia, Nakama is Where I GO – Nakama is the restaurant I alway's visit when in Pittsburgh because it is exciting, the sushi is not only delicious but artful, like the Hawaian Roll, and the hibachi dinners are fun. Fantastic Sushi!! – Nakama is by far the best spot for sushi that I have found in the city. It has a great atmpsophere for casual city dining. Prompt service, friendly, and reasonably priced!! Highly recommend the key lime pie martini
entertaining, gourmet japanese hibachi! – I recently took my family in from out of town to Nakama - i was there recently for some cocktails and people there were raving about the atmosphere and the quality of the food. We were seated together for a hibachi-sytle meal, and enjoyed the table commentary by the chef that prepared our meals.
