BEST SUSHI ANYWHERE – This is one of the best japanese hibachi and sushi restaurants ANYWHERE. The restaurant is so comfortable, and the services has always been good for me, (of course you can only judge on how crowded or non that it is. I recommended this place to all of my friends and they have nothing but the nicest things to say as well. I hope everyone gets a chance to try it atleast once.
Great Place – I have eaten at Nakama numerous times and it is a great restuarant. Actually, one of the best in Pittsburgh. The Sushi is phenominal and the Hibachi style cooking is fun and taste great. Everyone should try it!!!
Can't beat the sushi! – Sushi can be a tough thing to order, especially if you don't know what you are ordering. Nakama Japanese Steakhouse has the best sushi in the region, served with one thing you may not get anywhere else... KNOWLEDGE! You'll never get a bad recommendation from their staff. I never had a bad meal there. And the service is both speedy and friendly. I'm going back many times!
great get together place! – my friends and I make it a point to eat at nakama as much as we can. The food is great and so is the atmosphere! I must say this is my favorite restaurant around!
Excellent food!! – Nakama is the best Japanese steakhouse I have ever been to. Their service is above and beyond and the food is mouthwatering. You will never leave Nakama hungry -- excellent!!
Great Sushi, Greater Happy Hours! – We love Nakama, and believe that their sushi is the best in Pittsburgh. Even better, we enjoy sitting at the bar for Happy Hour - the staff is friendly, they have a great drink menu - and you can't pass up the Happy Hour specials. The seared ahi tuna is phenomenal ... and half price during Happy Hour! You can also enjoy a great view of the happenin' Carlton scene.
Best Appetizers - friendly staff! – I love this place -- it is difficult to choose appetizers as they are all fabulous - freshly made and arrive HOT ! Servers remember me and as I always ask for extra " pink sauce " - they remember that too. Try the Seafood Tempura - portion is so large you need to take some home or share it. A happening hot-spot – Look, quite simply, this is a top place to eat in Pittsburgh. Our server was outstanding. I had so many questions and she was right there to help with each one despite being very busy. The show was fascinating to watch and the food was just incredible. Great food! – We just recently went to Nakama for the first time. And we will be going back again...and often. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed our drinks and food. It was the best sushi I have had in Pgh. Amazing! The only other place I would compare it to is a restaurant in Atlanta - MF Sushi. We liked the food so much, we ordered more sushi once we finished our first platter.
