WANT TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT-> REPORT TO NAKAMA IMMEDIATELY – My friends and I love Nakama. The staff is wonderful the chefs are great and the food is amazing. Theres nothing more exciting than watching the highly skilled chef cook your food right in front of you. I can never finish my whole dinner because you get soo much good food. I recommend Nakama to everyone I know and even people I don't know. The VIP program is amazing, they reward all of their customers just for enjoying theirselves. They send you coupons and the... read more

Even Pregnant - I love it! – I am a frequent visitor to Nakama for both personal and work functions... when I got pregnant, I thought no more of those great martinis and no more sushi.... Why go to Nakama now? .. BUT, I still love it --- The atmosphere, the non-raw items of sushi, and the non-alcoholic fruity drinks make up for all of it.... I can't wait to have Sushi and a martini again ( In fact, I am bribing my friends to bring me sushi once I give birth!) -- My little guy will learn how to choose chopsticks at Nakama whe... read more

Best Japanes/ Steak In Pgh – I just wanted to say how wonderful your restaurant is. I have only been there once and can not wait to dine there again. I was very impressed with your food. Also the cooks were wonderful and entertaining. Your sauces that you make are absolutley divine. It has been the first time in a long time that I had a steak and didn't need to use A1 sauce because the flavoring was exquisite. I can't wait to bring my oldest son in. I think he would be very entertained and would really enjoy himself and the ... read more

First Sushi Experience – I had my first sushi experience at Nakama and I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was kind enough to recommend the items she felt would give be perfert for my first taste. The dinner was very good and the portions were more generous than other Japanese restaurants that I've been too. What I liked most was the mix of crowd there. There were families, people on dates and groups of friends. I loved it and can't wait to go again.

everthing great – I have been going to Nakama since it opened a few years ago and it is definitely my favorite Japanese and Sushi restaurant. We have spent birthdays, other special occasions and just nights out there. Even my 5 year old nephew loves it. The one thing I love about Nakama (other than the food) is the early bird specials. It really helps out so that I can go there more often. Also having Valet parking is great because the South Side parking situation is not great especially on weekends. ENJOY!!!

Best Sushi in Town – Prices are VERY reasonable for the quality of the sushi you recieve. I definitely would suggest sampling the Nakama Roll along side one of the signature martini's from the martini menu (also one of the best I have seen in Pitt - very creative). Highly reccomended to anyone from families to dates!

No other Japanese in Pittsburgh compares to Nakama! – This restaurant is downright amazing. From the decor and ambience on through to its sushi and hibachi-style dinners, Nakama epitomizes the perfect dining experience. In addition, they send out informative monthly newsletters, hold contests, and generally treat their patrons better than any local restaurant. Go to Nakama and you'll see what I mean!

Best hibachi in Pittsburgh – A must if you live or are just visiting the Pittsburgh area. The hibachi is to die for an the sushi is just as good! Service is excellent and there is usually valet service out in front. The bartenders are experienced and create tasty martinis, like the "T-D tini". I definitely recommend the hibachi dinner. Plenty of choices to choose from. I prefer the Land & Sea which is a combination of scallops and NY sirloin. So GOOD!!! I'm always impressed everytime I visit Nakama. I even plan on taking my ... read more
