Great Sushi, Fun Atmosphere, Awesome Experience – My wife and I recently visited Nakama and loved it. I had a great selection of sushi including Avocado noki and tuna rolls which were perfect. We then ate at the Hibachi and had a wonderful time watching them cook our food. Overall it we both had a great time.
Best Restaurant and Atmosphere in Pittsburgh!! – I have been coming to Nakama since it opened. My boyfriend and I had our first date there at the sushi bar and continue to celebrate monthly (or as often as we can) only at Nakama. When we go out to dinner...we go to Nakama. Best Food Ever!! – I am a devoted Nakama customer, and I can not say enough about how fabulous this restaurant is. I try to make it there at least once every couple weeks. Not only is the food amazing, but it could feed anyone. I have never seen someone leave this restaurant hungry. This is a great place to go with a bunch of friends and just have fun!! Great Location for nights out with your freinds – I recently went for my freinds birthday. the food was excellent....great portions. the service and atmospere was great. im am eager to return in the near future to try the sushi bar this time
Best Sushi in Town – I've been eating at Nakama since the first day the doors opened. It's the best sushi in Pittsburgh -- I've tried them all. Not only is the food great, but the service is terrific too! It's a great place to hang out and people watch. There's alway a crowd at Nakama --- they must be doing something right!!
Great dining experience – I've never had a negative experience at Nakama. The waitpeople are friendly and the crowd is always a good one. You have to try the green noodles appetizer--it's one of the best appetizers I've ever had.
Great Japanese food and sushi – One has to wait hours to get in but its worth it as the food is great, esp. the sushi. We drove 7 hours from Louisville, KY to get there at 9"30 pm on a Friday night and had to wait over an hour to get in, but it was delightful. We were enroute to Baltimore, MD. On our return two weeks later, we drove an extra 100 miles to return to Pittsburgh for a late lunch at Nakama's and were delighted with the sushi and Japanese items, and at 2:30 PM it was not as crowded.
