Best sushi I have eaten at a very good price – Excellent service and the food was beyond my expectation. I have eaten sushi in many places across the world and this is one of the best. Presentation was well done and the price was the best part. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes good sushi and Japenese food.
Best Sushi in Pittsburgh by far – Nakama is amazing. Best sushi/restaurant in Pittsburgh. You can't beat Bob's Triple Combo and the Hanelei Roll, but everything I have ever tried as been delicious. Great to get a group together and go, or just have a nice night out for 2.
LIKE GETTING A CAKE AND EATING IT TOO – NOT ONLY DO I FEEL THAT NAKAMA HAS EXCELLENT FOOD, THEIR SERVICE AND WELL AS EMPLOYEES ARE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL.. SOUTH SIDE HAS IT'S UPS AND DOWNS CAUSE I'VE BEEN HERE LONG ENOUGH BUT NAKAMA IS A PLACE TO BE WHERE THERE ARE NO WORRIES ABOUT THE FOOD OR SERVICE. I GO EVERY TUESDAY AND SOMETIMES TWICE A WEEK. I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF NAKAMA!!!!!!
BEST SUSHI ANYWHERE – Nakama is all around a wonderful experience, not only does it have some of the best food in all of the city of Pittsburgh, it has some of the best atmosphere and entertainment around. The sushi bar is incredible! There is something for everyone, whether its going out to get a drink with the girls, sushi on a date or Habachi with the family, Nakama is absolutely wonderful.
Nakama will always be my fave spot in pgh.!! – I've dined at Nakama several times and had great experiences there EVERY TIME!!! The chefs are very personable and professional and the entire wait staff is very attentive to your needs. I recently went there for my 21st birthday in August and chose the surf and turf...AMAZING as always and they made it a very memorable birthday dinner!!!!
Most amazing ginger dressing salad and sesame chicken around! – I LOVE Nakama's atmosphere, friendly service, excellent ginger salad and sesame chicken, not to mention the chef's putting on an entertaining performance/presentation!! I would recomment this restaurant to anyone!
Best Sushi in the 'burgh – Nakama has a great atmosphere and fabulous food. The upscale bar offers a great spot for happy hour drinks, while the restaurant offers the traditional steak house experience. Either way Nakama is a place worth checking out!
BEWARE!-Good Reviews are for Gift Certificates – Nakama is really violating the spirit of this website! Look at all the good reviews posted today. Nakama sent out an email stating they'll give gift certificates for positive reviews! I've eaten twice at Nakama and been underwhelmed both times. The service was lousy and the restrooms were in desperate need of a cleaning. Shame on Naklama for being so sneaky!
Best Ever – I've eaten at Nakama a few times and every time is great. I am entertained ever time I go there. It is a great place to go for a romantic dinner, out with friends, or a business dinner. Overall, Nakama is a great dining experience and I recommend it to everyone.
