Loved the atmosphere! – Loved the atmosphere. My husband and I ate there for our 2nd anniversary and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was delicious--similar to many other cook-the-food-in-front-of-you Japanese restaurants, but the atmosphere of this restaurant set it apart from the rest.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere – The food at Nakama is delicious! I enjoy it more than some of the other Japanese Steakhouses around the Pittsburgh area. The atmosphere is fun, the food is great and it's a wonderful place to meet friends and have a great time. I highly recommend Nakama to anyone who enjoys this type of cuisine.

Definitely THE place to eat. – Nakama is definitely the place to go if you want to have fun, delicious food (i recommend the Kobe beef and any of their sushi), and yummy drinks (I highly recommend the sexpotini). A very entertaining night – We went with about 12 people one night and had a blast. Started out with a couple drinks at the bar, while being entertained by a magician. His card tricks were amazing. We were seated quickly, which was nice because we only had reservations for 7 people, but slowly added more as the night went on. THe check was great. We asked him to do the volcano with an onion and he knew exactly what we were talking about. THe food was sooo good. Better than any other japanese steakhouse I've been too.

Best Sushi – I was fortunate to be taken to Nakama for my b-day and had the surprise party arranged by my husbands and friends. The experience was wonderful. What stood out for me was the sushi. I eat sushi in many different states and I have to say that this is the best sushi that I have ever had. Everyone loved their meals and the b-day celebration was great. I look forward to returning and trying even more on hteir expansive menu.
Nothing Else Like It – Nakama is one of my all-time favorite places. When I take friends there for the first time, they rave. No other Japanese steakhouse that I have been to has food as excellent as Nakama's. If you're planning on going there for dinner it is always best to make a reservation and allow time to find parking, but other than that the food is to die for and the atmosphere is great.
Great food, great time!! – I have been to Nakama twice....once for dinner and once for lunch. Both were excellent. I actually recommend lunch because it is less crowded and only a little less food for a lot less money. However, I would not hesitate to go at any time. I have been to several hibachi restaurants and this is the best by far.
