Amazing experience, great location, and of course stellar food! – Nakama was such a wonderful experience, I had been a bit reserved about going, because I didn't like Japanese food, but a trip to Nakama is now my absolute favorite meal! I've gotten the Kobe beef every time, and have never been disappointed. great night out – When you go to Nakama, you go for the experience - it's like none other in the city. I love the atmosphere, and the staff is very attentive. Overall, it's always a fun night out with friends when we dine there. And, to top it off, I never even like Japanese food until I tried it there!
Best drinks and service – I've been to the Nakama several times and each time i am pleasantly surprised with the quality of food which was preceded by service of which you have to experience to believe. Great bartenders which know their drinks and are always very courteous. Parking has never been a problem either, a block away there is a lot of which i never had a problem getting a spot. Best Hibachi I have ever had – Nakama is the best Hibachi restaurant I have ever been to. I have tried several in the Pittsburgh area, but Nakama tops them all. The service is great and it is definitley kid freindly. I would reccommend it to everyone...
Best Sushi/Hibachi in the 'burg – I have been going to Nakama since it has opened and it is by far the best sushi/japanese restaraunt in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere there makes for the ultimate dining experience with some of the best chefs in Pittsburgh and such a great location in the heart of South Side. And their sushi is extremely fresh and some of the best around!!
Great Happy Hour - good place to go with a group of people – I have been to Nakama 5 times and will continue to go back. The food is very good and I like the happy hour crowd (mostly younger professionals). The only advice I have is, if you are going in a large group, or going with any number of people on the weekend, make reservations because it is typically crowded.
Best Dining Experience Ever – From the time we arrived until we left, we were amazed at the energetic atmosphere, the entertaining chef, and the very helpful staff. I never knew that dinner could be so fun. We will go back for the great food and wonderful feeling this place gives off. The cost was very fair and maybe even a little low as for the value we got. You definitely have to try this place, as I know you will be hooked as we are.
Best Sushi in town! – I have been to Nakama several times and have always had a wonderful experience. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive, the chefs are amazing, and the food is always great! The sushi is some of the freshest I've ever had. The atmosphere is very vibrant and there always seems to be a crowd at the bar and for dinner. Nakama is a must for anyone who likes sushi or habachi dining!
