FAMILY DATE NIGHT at Nakama – My husband and I had date night every other thursday before our daughter was born. Now we have family date night, we love the sushi and atmosphere ( and the saketinis don't hurt) and our 4 year old loves to eat with chopsticks and watch the chef prepare her dinner. The hibachi is fabulous, the service well timed, the sushi is by far the best in the "burgh" and the fun we have is a family is priceless. Thank you Nakama, we will keep coming back again and again.
Great Food, Great Atmosphere!!! – Nakama was a great experience, especially for our 1st wedding anniversary. The chef was amazing and fun to watch, the food was excellent and extremely well priced and the drinks were out of this world. We have been to several sushi restaurants in the Pittsburgh area and Nakama is definately the best!! I would highly recommend Nakama to anyone looking to celebrate any occasion. We are repeat customers, of couse!
Great Hibachi style food – Nakama has been a favorite of my family and co-workers over the last year. We have visited for lunch, and special dinners. The wait-staff has been courteous and accomodating to adults and children in the party. Our chef, except on 2 out of 10 occassions was energetic, funny and entertaining making the dining experience worthy of frequent encores. We will opt to return whenever possible!!!
Greatest Place Ever! – Nakama is the greatest place ever! There food is the bestest. If you love seafood then this is the place to go. Everything is wonderful from the soup to the bean sprouts! If you have never been there go, and if you have been there go again!
Best shushi, great service, supurb atmosphere, a great place to dine with friends. – Been there three times for dinner and sushi. I have eaten in 5 or 6 of Pittsbutghs Sushi resteraunts and Nakama is the best hands down. The soft shell crabs rolls are to die for. The service is excellant, the cooks are friendly and entertaining. Each time we were there we were witha group and none of us had any complaints about anything. I will be back again and again! I an't wait for our next trip. Don't wait, try them today.
Best Sushi in Pittsburgh – Nakama is great for a night out or a large group going out to dinner. Reservations are taken for large groups. The sushi is fantastic, tha Hanlei roll is our favorite! The service is always great, everyone is friendly. Lunch service is quick and the food is just as good as it is for dinner. The hibatchi dinners are kid friendly and great place to celebrate birthday's!
My favorite restaurant in the burgh. – I have been to Nakama on numerous occasions and always recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat. The food is delicious, the show is exciting, and the atmosphere is always fun. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant and look forward to enjoying it for many meals to come.
Great place to entertain – I'm a hero! Every client I've taken to Nakama invariably calls me to find out the next time we'll go there. The food is outstanding, the service superb and the prices, (especially during "Happy Hour") are affordable. I highly recommend Nakama to sushi afficionados as well as "first-timers". Even if sushi isn't your cup of tea, take in a show tableside. All of my clients were impressed with the performance done by expert chefs.
Great Food – My family and I dined at Nakama a few months ago for a birthday dinner. The sushi and food were excellent, especially the scallops, we were seated right at our reservation time, and had a wonderful dining experience. The food is much better than other area Japanese restaurants. We can not wait to return again.
