best sushi in town. – we go to your restaurant a few times a month. although all of your food is exceptional, we especially enjoy your sushi bar. The sushi is always fresh and the chefs are very friendly. The atmosphere is always good, with plenty of people to talk with and just hang out.
Best Restaurant on the Southside – Nakama has the best food and customer expirience on the southside. Not only will you have great food for lunch or dinner, but you will have a great time watching it be prepared. Prices are also reasonable and portions are large. Don't miss an opportunity to eat at Nakama.

Best in the Burgh – I have lived in Pittsburgh my entire life, and even though it is still relatively new, Nakama has surpassed everywhere else I have ever eaten and is most definitely my favorite. Great Atmosphere! – I love NAKAMA! Fantastic food and a great place to eat. I highly recommend making reservations very early in the week because everyone is at NAKAMA during the weekends! Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. My husband and I went for our 2nd Anniversary and had such a great time!
Fabuluos food – Nakama is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been to! They also have some of the best sushi. I would highly recommend Nakama to anyone who is a lover of great food!
Great Happy Hour Spot – Nakama is a great place for happy hour any day of the week. The atmosphere, food and service all make for a great evening on the southside.
A GEM IN THE HEART OF THE SOUTH SIDE! – If you are looking for a great dining experience you have to try Nakama. The atmosphere is second only to the quality of the food. The south side is fortunate to have such a quality restaurant in its center.
My Experience – My friends and I try to get to Nakama's at least once a month. We have found that the atmosphere allows us to have so much fun. We can laugh and talk loud and be entertained by the chefs. Not to mention that the food is great. The portion sizes are huge which means you have plenty left over for lunch the next day.
