I purchased glasses and contacts from the store near Southpoint in Durham, NC. The retail staff is completely inept, especially the receptionist, Michelle, who doesn't understand how to do her job, including taking back contacts. The contact prescription was incorrect, not that she ever asked why I was returning them. I asked for a manager, but it was the manager's day off. We have been going to this location for several years. The doctors are great! We have 2 young daughters who also wear glasses. Every year when we purchase their glasses we also purchase the warranty and NEVER take advantage of it. However It turned out that our younger daughter has had to have her glasses replaced twice in a short period of time due to a anxious playful puppy. Well my issue is just that the website claims they accept all insurance, quote "because you shouldn't have to sacrifice quality for price" When I called the Plant City branch however they said no sorry, we are out of network. So call first because the website is misleading.
Great staff, plenty of appointments available! Called somewhere else before MyEyeDr and their earliest appointment was Nov 12th! I’ve had my appointment and gotten new glasses over a month faster than if I’d waited. Was told 10 days and got them in 7! Love them!
We went to the Knightdale, NC location and they were wonderful!! The staff was courteous and friendly and the glasses came in in half the time they told us! Sometimes you get what you give...give kindness!!
