Excellent Food – I had an excellent time at Ms. Tootsie's. I had the fried chicken, which is not easy to make (I don't care what people say). My friend had seafood and that is what I will order next time. i wanna try it all! The sides were great - I had the greens and yams (yams to die for) and hot corm muffins that were right on the money. Great place to take family members or have an initimate dinner with a friend. The ambiance is perfect for that. Thanks Ms Tootsie's!
One of my best dining experiences!! – I took my mom about 2 weeks ago for her bday, along with some family members & we had a verrrry nice time!! So, this past weekend, i took my auntie for her bday, along with some more family members, & again, we had a verrry nice time!! Especially, the bday song/entertainment provided to us!! Great food ---VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!! – I knew we were in for a ride when we entered the crowded vestibule decorated with champagne colored curtains joined together with safety pins. After waiting fifteen minutes to submit our name for the buffet we stood by the oversized, unmanned reception desk waiting for a seat at the bar. An Amazingly Fabulous Experience – I've had dinner a few times at Ms. Tootsie, and have never been disappointed with the service, and more importantly, with the quality of the food. Christmas Disappointment – This year my family decided to try a restaurant out for Christmas instead of cooking. My grandmother made reservations a week before for 3:00pm but the owner called her back stating that they were not opening until 5:00pm. This was fine until we arrived at the restaurant today to find out that they had opened before 5:00pm. I'll Be Back! Again... and Again! One of the best evening out in a long time. I was truly impressed with the food, staff and the restuarant itself. The food was delicious. The staff was pleasant. The restuarant was classy! I will be a repeat customer!
Best Soul Food Restaurant – A part of our family tradition is that we all go out to dinner after church on Sunday. We choose different places each Sunday. We normally take a vote and off we go.
