The worst customer service but delicious food
I don't know what's happening, perhaps there is change in chef, but my last two dining experiences at Ms. Tootsie's was anything but desirable. I dined there last night with my cousin and ordered three sides, collards, Mac & cheese and yams. The only item I enjoyed was the yams. The greens were painfully salty and the Mac & cheese was very dry. This is the second time I experienced disappointment at this restaurant, which I used to enjoy. You'll be waiting for hours for mediocre food.
Slow service on a night not much people came. The waitress was attending a much bigger crowd due to a birthday party, but little did they know my birthday was the same night!
Best Soul Food anywhere – One word comes to mind when I think about the experience that I had - bliss. From the friendliness of the staff, the attentiveness of our waitress and the variety of dishes to chose from to the deliciousness of the meal itself, it was heavenly.
