Had my Tahoe serviced yesterday. When I was almost home the screen popped up "Tire Monitor System" and the tire light came on. Checked the monitor for pressure in tires. The drivers side tire showed only dots. I pulled over thinking I had a flat. All was ok. Called the service department and was told I needed to bring it back. Keep in mind I live an hour round trip away. I also waited 3 hours to get it serviced. People coming and going. So I make the hour round trip back today. No one ever apologized or anything. I have purchased 3 Jeeps from DJ Garner in the past- excellent salesman, dude, and friend. Alas, I went rogue for a number of years wandering the streets of lesser valued vehicles and dealerships. Now, I'm here to tell you that I've found myself and have made amends! I am welcomed back with open arms, smiling faces, and warm hearts to Moritz. Thanks to DJ Garner, I'm cured. I had the WORST experience here and will NEVER be back. The service guy I dealt with was Ryan Byers. He explicitly lied to me by telling me he was not able to look up what was covered under my warranty without charging me a diagnostic fee ($135). I called another dealership and they were able to tell me in about 2 minutes what was covered under my warranty. I was told I would have a diagnosis in 2 days but it took 4! Had an appt. for 8:00 on Friday, I got there at 7:30, Ryan took care of my car for an inspection, oil change and tire rotation right away, I was on my way after an hour and 15 minutes. Yesterday I had an appt. at 9:00 to get a recall replacement part on my 2013 Equinox, there were about 15 people in the waiting room, but they were done in about an hour.
My truck broke down in Ft Worth and I got towed to Moritz for repairs. Service writer Connie Dewar took excellent care of me and had me back on the road in no time. It was my first experience with this dealership, and although I hope I won't need them again, if I do I know where I will go. Thank you Moritz, Connie and the tech for getting back on the road.
