It was very very crowded when we got to the ER, so my granddaughter and I ended up sitting on a cot in the hallway for them to see her. That part, I did not like and why I rated them a 4. They finally put me in a private room to continue to run tests on me. Baby girl has strep throat, we both are fighting off the flu, and have been eating chicken soup and drinking tea for the last few days. We will see how her shot and our medications work out for us. We sat in ER for over 4 hours. While none else sitting there seemed to be in trauma, my relative wasn't bleeding but hadn't been able to eat or swallow for 3 days. Regardless, it was a painfully long sit on my butt. Don't the health people say you shouldn't sit that long? But if you are in a crowded er waiting room, and if you even go to the bathroom, you'll miss your turn.

Every single one of the people who took care of me genuinely made me feel like they cared. Doctors discussed strategies. Nurses and PCT's acted professionally in spite of my constant joking around. The food service people were remarkable and even the housekeepers stopped to chat while going about their insanel... read more

Despite the time of year when everyone and their dogs are sick, and the long wait in the er ...I really have to say that my experience was good. The dedication of trying to be friendly , professional when everyone is complaining at you for the wait , I have to say kudos to the staff . You folks go out of your way trying to help when your limited on staff, beds, gurneys and room and I just wanted to say that I appreciate the effort . People just need to relax and chill as if the weather isn't cold enough and understand that dur... read more
