I see an eye specialist and I have never waited less than 2 hours to see him. The staff never informs anyone of wait time, I guess assuming my time is of no value. If I could go elsewhere (due to insurance) I would. Really really awful treatment of patients.
The worst bill department in the country need more competent ppl in that department
Loyola and my Organ Donor saved my live 13 years ago they have been wonderful. They still take very good care of me!
I have passed through and I understand your frustrations with wait times. However, it could be worse. In california, it may take up to 3 or 4 hours to be seen. Average is 1.5 to 2 hours. And that's average. It's not the staff's fault. I know they want to help. It's frustrating at times but you will be helped by the best in the business
My son just spent 5 days at Loyola. The nurses and patient technicians were absolutely wonderful!! He was brought in through the ER and actually that was a great experience as well. Well, as good an experience as can be had in a hospital. Doctors are top notch and very caring from our experience this past week. There were some backups in the lab and that was very frustrating. But overall most medical staff were really wonderful!! Thank you Loyola for taking such good care of my son!!!!
Upon arriving at Loyola, I informed the ER staff that my baby's pediatrician instructed me to bring her to the closest ER, b/c she had vomited six times, I also informed them that she was a heart patient & asked them how long the wait would be, they stated it would be 10 min. I then waited over an hour. They began seeing other patients that came in after us. Now I'm quite concerned at this point and began informing the triage staff again, that my baby has a heart condition. I thought serious ailments took priority but last n... read more
Dr. John Boblick and the Elmhurst Boblick group is outstanding + all the Loyola docs I have are the best! Excellent bedside manner too!
ED ain't shit I sat from 3:30-7:00pm they continued to take people before me regardless of my heart rate blood pressure high and me barely breathing. Fuck yall and don't call me trying to bill me either because yall didn't do a damn thing for me.
Been sick my entire life....have never found doctors and medical staff that worked better together. I cannot wait to continue my medical care with the doctors, nurses and medical staff found at Loyola.
