RecommendedMy son had really bad pink eye. So of course I was VERY hesitant to bring him in due to this covid-19 crisis. All the urgent cares were closed, or didn’t accept my insurance. So I went to Belton ER... they went above and beyond to help me! I asked if it would be ok to have my son be seen in the truck to avoid exposing him to anything in the hospital. I wish I got her name, but a nice nurse and doctor came out, checked him out, and wrote us a script for pink eye drops! Thank you SO SO SO SO much for working with me and my son... read more
The nurses and doctors were great! We had major issues with the billing department. They were very rude to my husband (and in turn he was not very nice back) and then when he asked to talk to a supervisor they gave him a name. He talked to her and she was willing to help, then he called back the next day to give her an update and the lady on the phone told him they did not have a supervisor with that name. Research Medical Center Brookside is THE ABSOLUTE WORST !!!!! I was told “even if your fetus is dead there is nothing we can do so no need for a ultrasound “. SMH thank God I got a second opinion & my little bby is JUST FINE ‼️‼️‼️‼️
While ICU is good, and as a whole the rehab therapists are good, there are definite issues. Food services is incompetent, incapable of taking basic orders and on at least one occasion bring food the patient was allergic to. The doctors, particularly Dr. Leuder, are unresponsive to patients pain and injury complaints. Also, the medical staff resists explaining the nature of a patient’s injuries, and why they are following a give course of treatment.
