My mother had back surgery and is still in the hospital, and they haven't told her when she can go home. The Dr was late to the surgery, he hasn't been back since. A strange man entered my mother's room looking and insisting he was looking for his wife. A lab tech guy walked in, didn't knock, didn't announce himself, didn't say what he was there for and had a very bad attitude. He wanted blood from my mother's arm but wouldn't tell her why and he never said her name and if he was there for her. My niece asked him to talk to ... read more

Well, if you go to their ER, don't mention you smoke medical marijuana or that's all they'll hear and you're suddenly not receiving the care you need, but rather treated like a drug addict, even though you refused all pain meds. Cant wait to get the $1000+ bill for fluids, nausea meds I specifically told them I have already taken and do nothing, plus a really unnecessary test you ran without saying a word to me first about it. Thanks for literally nothing Dr Petersen*.

I went to the ER tonight for severe back, spine and head pain and to get my VP shunt checked as it has been draining nonstop. I am disabled and receive disability from the state. I have had 15 shunt revisions throughout my life and have a terrible memory as well as anxiety being without my support person. It makes it really difficult on me. It brings on additional pain and suffering. Prior to this visit, about two months ago, my support person was allowed back with me. True story - brought to the ED unconscious & unresponsive after being a drugging victim at the Divisional Playoff Game at Arrowhead. They completely ignored my family that was with me and telling them I was drugged. We only found out after hair follicle testing that I had been given GHB amongst other things I never knowingly took. To top it off they refused to go very far in working with me on the bill, while we are still in the middle of a global pandemic.
