I don’t think anyone actually enjoys going to the doctor, BUT, Dr. Hedges and her team are wonderful. I moved a few hours away and still return to Lees Summit for annual visits because of Dr. Hedges. She answers any and all of my questions, she is kind, and very personable. It makes going to an appointment more enjoyable than one would imagine. Thanks for the great patient care and support!
I stopped by Lee’s Summit Medical Center for an X-ray on my ankle ordered by my General Practitioner. Everyone was very polite, and they got me right in. It was very convenient and close to home. However, I was shocked when I received the bill for this simple service. It was over $900. With insurance I owe over $400 for this X-ray. After some research, we discovered that the fair price for an ankle X-ray in our area is $85. I went to this hospital for a fall and hit my head I was at the emergency room for less than an hour. I received a bill for over $9000.00. I had no options for treatment was never told it was going to be this kind of bill. I would never recommend this hospital group to anyone
Last year,incompetence caused me to bleed out all over a mammo machine presurgery. A wire was put in,it was bent, and it was awful. I'm not on blood thinners,am not a bleeder. It was error on the tech's part. Then this Monday, a tech put in an iv for a CT with contrast,not trying to use any less painful areas,going straight to the top of my hand out of laziness. She dropped something,blood was shooting everywhere. Rather than redoing it,she left it there,and twice while injecting contrast, I hollered in pain. I've had 5 kids... read more

Wonderful hospital! I spent 4 nights at this hospital. Everyone from the ER, to the nurses and doctors were all amazing. I was taken their by ambulance after Warrensburg couldn't check for blood clots. I would recommend this hospital to everyone. The infectious disease doctor was the best doctor I've seen. Just all around great people.
The Drs and nurses here have been absolutely wonderful and helped my daughter n law feel totally taken care of ... with their lil Fentanyl friend! ����
