Same story as so many others. We purchased a Sampler Package (ie the Sucker Package) at Cabo Azul and were told we would have access to the bank of other timeshares all over the world that Diamond purchases off of other people that we could just pay cash for. We were sold on this because there were only a handful of destinations in the sampler anyway. There are awful. A scam! Liars about most everything that makes it appealing. Mean when you turn them down to buy more points.

Horrible kept me over the time limit with multiple sales people. I said No! Kept pressuring me I still said no.

This company is absolute garbage! They are dishonest weasels that scam you out of money!! Our experience with them has been nothing but horrible!! Since they bought out Grand Monarch, we have had issues starting with them not telling us about it. Then we vacationed in Vegas where we were literally forced into buying in to diamond because our account was still with Monarch by telling us about substantial maintenance fee increases if we didn't. They don't ever give you the option to get out of the timeshare even if it is fully... read more

In 2019 we had gone to Vegas and when we were there Diamond roped us in to giving them $150 for a trip back to Vegas and we would get $150 back by going to their presentation for buying into the timeshare. They were also putting us up in a hotel at no charge. I had tried making reservations and was told no on my dates several times. I told them the days of the week we could travel and extended further out then was told they couldn't make reservations that far out. This company is so infuriating! On December 18th we were in Orlando for vacation and were dumb enough to be fulled by all the big words and empty promises. Before the day was over i began to think twice about our purchase and starting doing some research. I was quickly concerned and in full remorse. I found it on their own website were we had 10 days to cancel and receive full refund. I would like to report on business practices and techniques that are wrong and illegal by Diamond Resort International. My personal experience with Diamond Resort is that they will not honor their commitments and their contractual obligations. They made claims that as a gold member I would receive 50% off on all scheduled point usage for Diamond properties and did not honor this commitment. They communicated I would receive VIP upgrades on my stays and they did not honor this commitment. They will say whatever it takes to a ... read more

Recently went to a presentation in Williamsburg, Virginia. The initial one-hour presentation was done in such a way that those listening were treated as mindless small children. After the initial presentation, the specific sales person proceeded to tell us that they use very low-key sales techniques and no pressure. After another 90 minutes, they were still pushing and pushing us to purchase (although we had told them over and over that we were not going to purchase and had to leave at a specific time). Hello, I signed up for Diamond Resorts Transitions July 2019, sent in all the required paperwork notarized and the $1k check. In August 2019 the check was cashed. We never got any reciept or other documents stating we were released from the timeshare ownership. Called multiple times with no answers. We were given a different phone number for Transitions but nobody ever answers that number and we are never called back. I have also emailed several times with no response.
