Diamond used to be a great company. NO MORE! The travel department is answered by individuals in other countries that you can't understand or you have to keep calling to hope for a US representative. They do not transfer you upon request. It is nearly impossible to get any reservations that you want, even when you are a platinum member or have priority due to where you purchased your points. Diamond resorts should never be trusted. Very deceptive company where the consumer is look upon as pray for the for the sales organizations. After being a owner in a time share which I had no problems with for many years . Diamond took over and thing took a turn for the worst. Forget the rise in yearly fees. We just want out of our timeshare and we can't even doe we have fallen on a financial hardship... it hasn't even been a month since we had it and because we didn't cancel within 5 days we're stuck paying for something we cannot afford.

We attended a sales presentation with promise of a $100 visa gift card. The reps consistently stated that there was "no pressure" and to keep an "open mind". What we experienced was quite the opposite. We made it clear that the timing was not right for us to invest in a timeshare and were met with condescending attitude and repeatedly given unsolicited "advice". We went to the presentation today and was told it was 90 minutes when I signed up but when we arrived was informed it was 120. The original sales person was very nice and we told her we were intrigued but would pass, then the next person came and we told them the same thing. We had THREE more after that and I told them I could not be pressured but they continued to send closer after closer. it was almost 4 hours at that place today! Never accidentally overpay your maintenance fee on line!! I did, now just try and get your refund in a timely manor. I informed them that I mistakenly paid them twice for my annual fees online. I Called the next day and was told by the receptionist that it would be a 5 to 10 day wait for that to happen. Here I am 21 days later and two follow up phone calls, each call advising me that they would contact the finance section and it takes 5 to 10 days for that to process, just be patient. Having a sampler for diamond resort won't get you any vacations . The person that sold us this sampler made is seem like we had so many options even after we made sure to ask him about 5 times if all the location were included . I went on a presentation in Williamsburg at the Greensprings Resort. I arrived on time at 830am and waited for my rep. I was taken into a room with other guest to watch a video. After the video comes the slick talk and scams. I said NO well over 10 times only for them to continue to harass me. I had to leave because it was my daughter's birthday. Diamond Resorts has for almost two (2) years declined to provide my deed to my Polo Towers Timeshare paid off in 2018! I get NO return calls, e-mails from a different person asking for the SAME information already provided (16 people as of 17 Jan 2020) and told than my completed forms have not been received for over two weeks.
