Awful is the only way to describe Diamond Resorts International Customer Service - They are terrible to work with - rude - arrogant....Each different representative gives you a different answer, we got disconnected at one point and he did not even bother to call us back. Spoke with two managers and they were just as rude..I am so disappointed with Diamond Resorts (who recently bought our resort which was with ********) ******** was fantastic... I hare Diamond Resorts. When we were in Las Vegas last year we made a stupid mistake of purchasing sampler points they said to let us see how they treat there silver members. So upon trying to make our first reservation with these points they said there was nothing available however we could make the reservation with out regular points. Then we had to cancel a reservation made with these points and had to pay a $75 cancellation fee. This company is nothing but a rip off.

We have been owners with Diamond Resorts for around 20 years and have had good experiences until a recent stay at the Diamond Daytona Regency Resort. We made a mistake and attended an "owner update." This was a high pressure sales pitch. The rep told us about the additional benefits we would obtain by buying additional points. Yes yes, 2017 Husband & I sign up for a presentation at Liki Tiki in Orlando because they promised a 3d-2nites FREE...Should off saw the RED FLAGS bc it wasn't free as we thought. we paid for the wknd. got a 2 bdrms and the grands had a great time. Anything away to pools is great for our grands(Ages 2-10). Last day is presentaion day we yes yes WE SIGNED THE DOTTED LINE. Anyway been a nightmare. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Pushy is an understatement. On and on. The points at a deal for 3.89 is only worth .16 cents if you buy a hotel room that isn't diamond for cash. That's what you will get .16, terrible. They don't buy a timeshare back, they know their not worth nothing. Salesman is never an hour session, biggest LIE ever. I got sucked in and paid the big $$ to become a member; I have to live with that. But the biggest on-going scam is the lack of availability. Today I tried to book into a resort directly owned by DR for dates 7 months in advance; only thing available was a studio. BUT thru *******, *********** etc all room types are available for those exact same dates. You can even book directly thru DR and get any room type on those exact same dates. I am a diamond resorts time share owner and I have to say I have been amused by some of these comments, I have used my timeshare successfully all over the world and the benefits are amazing. I cannot believe that you all are soooo negative. unless you are totally internet illiterate and can not read basic English. It is super user friendly and so easy to use. to bad all the members that are happy with it don't take the time to post cause you all are missing out.
