We recently were in Sedona AZ, and stayed at a Diamond Resort. We sat through the membership presentation and declined to become a member. Just before we were ready to leave our visit we were approached by a representitive offering us a resort sampler. We were aprehensive but became interested after he stated that we could buy a short term sampler membership to get our feet wet with Diamond Resorts. He then claimed that we could use our points to go to all the destinations that we mentioned wanting to go to. I questioned him... read more

Sleezy sales reps are at the Williamsburg location. One sales rep told my husband and myself that his father was dying to get us to sympathize with him and buy. They promise no high pressure sales and they couldn't take no for an answer. We had to meet with 3 different sales reps before we could get out of there to get our prize. This company is a joke and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience with them. I feel bad for others they have taken advantage of.

Business response:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Diamond does not condone high pressure sales tactics and a guest is free to leave a presentation at anytime.

I own diamond, but all it has been is one big expense. I tried to pay my yearly dues that have been raised significantly -early, and since I was on a payment plan and choose to pay it off early, I was charged almost a 300 dollar add on fees for cancelling the payment plan. The places may be nice, but you will definitely pay over budget and be in debt for life, unless you can hire an attorney to get out. Also, everytime I have went on a trip, I have been persuaded with pushy marketing tactics to buy more, then my relaxing vaca... read more

If I could leave negative star review there wouldn't be enough room for the negative stars on the page. They are scam artists who sold us on something they don't offer, they sold us 2500 points stating that it could be used for 1 or 2 night stays and could be used in concert with another program that we have and love. Then they invited us to a review 3/17/2018 to update us on the changes, and the sales associate insulted my wife an I to the point we were speechless. The sales representative then got up and left, as did we ... read more

We have been Diamond members for many years and were happy until recently. They must be pushing their sales reps to sell at all costs including telling outright lies. In our last two "owners updates we were lied to so that we would purchase additional points. In February of 2018 at our "owners update" at their ****** ***** Resort in Orlando we were told that if we purchased more points so that we had 100,000 points that we would become "Double Platinum" members. Our points would then be worth $.30 a point instead of $.10 for... read more

If you are considering becoming a Diamond owner, we have one word of advise: DON'T!! We did sign. Only two weeks later we found our sales agent had lied about: 1) what the Diamond points could do buy us 2) he told us Diamond had bought a resort near our home, but wasn't on their website yet (it turned out that Diamond had not purchased that resort) 3) he gave us his phone number to call if we had any questions (he has never returned our call) 4) the head office in Las Vegas will blow you off, either by not returning emails t... read more

This is the worst company I have ever worked with! The gentleman I worked with although a really nice guy (so we thought) assured us that the plan we were purchasing would be more than enough for 2 family trips every year. We were pressured into purchasing this package with promises and all the promises were lies. After creating our account after purchasing this package we learned that not only would the points we purchased not be enough for 2 trips we learned that it would not even be enough for a single trip. At this time ... read more

Diamond Resorts has in fact lied and pressured my wife and I multiple times, I am embarrassed to say. The sales presentations consist of more lies than truth. The high pressure tactics used by their sales team are relentless. I am in the process of "relinquishing" over $100,000 worth of purchase points and $16,000 in prepaid maintenance fees just to rid myself of them.

This is absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with. They promise wonderful lodging, the ability to go on a great vacation and great customer service. What a total waste of money. Liars. I would rate Diamond Resorts 0 stars.
