Diamond Resorts has lied to us far too many times than I can count. Will not allow you to tape the conversation and will not put their promises and "inside information " in their contract. Please, please beware. They have destroyed the lives of way too many people, let alone seniors and veterans. Paid over $100,000 to be led down the line of lies and deceit. I was tricked into turning over my deeded timeshare for their package. It's ending up costing more for access to resorts I'll never use. Avoid! Annual fees triple
The absolute worst company I have ever encountered. The Dale's people lie, never return phone calls or emails. Very unhappy with the bullying these sales people do!!!
Do not buy with Diamond Resorts! Worst $80,000 I ever spent! Plus $5,000 a year for maintainance fees and they NEVER have availability when I try to book a vacation! They sell more points than they can accommodate with reservations so you are stuck with points that you paid for and can't use. They have an extremely complicated system on purpose so You will never understand the system and they prey on that. It has been about 10 years since my ex-husband and I bought our timeshare with SunTerra, the company DRI bought out sometime after that. I "got" the timeshare in the divorce and all subsequent purchases are mine alone. Horrible experience. This company is nothing but a fraud. Requested a refund on my vacation within the 30 days. They refused to give me my money back, this went on for months until I threatened legal action, then suddenly my money was refunded. Extremely rude employees. High pressure sales tactics. They still to this day call me after telling them 20 times to delete my information. STAY AWAY FROM DIAMOND RESORTS.
Is there such a thing as a negative star!! Diamond Resort is a SCAM!!! Really hard to stay vacationed when you spend all your money on maintenance fees. Financed a 32,000 policy through them to sell points for booking travel. Tried to use it no good. Have called a Steve M****** supposedly a "Quality Assurance" rep, who gave me his business card the last time I visited Polo Towers. I give Diamond Resort International no stars. This is a company that will lie to you to get you to buy and then turn their back on you. My husband and I bought at Turtle Cay in VA Beach almost 20 years ago when it was first being built. Staying there became a family tradition. First taking our children and now our grandchildren. My friend and I went in together on a timeshare in March. She is married and her husband didn't want to be apart of it. We sat there for 12 hours while they kept talking to us and giving us deals. We went ahead and signed and it was the biggest mistake EVER!!! Not only has no one talked to use about how we use the timeshare, but everything they promised us, we never received.
